But I don’t have the receipt 😩😩 that was the day I was too slow to tap ‘Yes’ on the self scan checkout when it asked if I wanted a receipt. What the hell do I do?? It says on the T&Cs to retain your receipt 😞

Message the supermarket for a copy of the receipt , if you know the time and value they should be able to find it or use bank statement as evidence - it’s ridiculous to have that as a condition when we are encouraged to go paperless !

Why would they need you to retain a receipt to claim the prize? Sounds like a cop out of paying out knowing likely most people don't retain a grocery receipt.

Ask the supermarket for a receipt. Have the competition site specifically asked for the receipt before price? They may not actually ask for it if not

If it’s Tesco they can find the receipt if you used your clubcard. Go ask at customer services.
I bought an item of clothing that was too big and lost the receipt but they found it on my clubcard account and refunded me.

In the FAQs it says you may be asked to show receipt as proof of purchase

Hopefully they won’t even ask you for it then 🤞

It was Morrisons, I used the More card though, maybe they can find it using that?

Looking at your bank statement/website/app and get the figure you spent makes it easier for the staff to get the transaction. If you can narrow down the time and whether it was self scan or manned checkout.

When customers want historical receipts, expect to collect the next day.

Can you buy another box now? And use that as proof of purchase?

When did you buy the tea? If you got it from tesco they can give you a receipt backdated using your club card to find it.

This happened to us with Pepsi max. I think we went to the shop and got them to get the till roll out but in the end it wasn’t a deal breaker. Pepsi knew where and when we bought it and we just had to give the right info

No I didn’t, I just had to put my details in and the code inside the box lid.

They found it!! Apparently I was the only person who spent £17.38 that day so it was easy to find apparently. I’m so relieved!!
