Annoyed with Lorraine Kelly today

She and her fashion woman (Jo?) were talking about the astronauts stranded in space for months. Showed a photo of the female astronaut with her grey hair at the end of the trip, vs a photo of her with brown hair when she got on the spacecraft. Cue lots of laughing and jokes about how she forgot to take her hair dye with her and how she must have enjoyed being back at the hairdresser. Really annoying that this astronaut is obviously v clever, brave, has had this huge achievement in her career (and probably v stressful experience) and they’re giggling about her grey roots. Pathetic

I have no idea why that woman is on telly 🙄

I didn’t see it but it is pathetic. Why do some women feel the need to do this? Maybe it makes them feel better about themselves, I don’t know.

I’ve sent a complaint email to itv. Dont expect a response but this has really pissed me off this morning. If I made jokes about a woman’s grey hair at work, I’d be in trouble, don’t see why she should be able to be this sexist on tv

No idea why people fawn all over her acting as if she's some sort of national treasure. Can't be bothered with her. Or her show.

Yes funny how her colleague has not had any reports of how much "older" he looks ,Suni has also been reported as having "aged" looking gaunt and so on. FFS ,she has achieved so much and kept a cool head in difficult circumstances. Her general health should be of more concern .Dont like LK and she seems dated as you say.Also cant understand her a lot of the time!

Because the majority of women watching Lorraine won't have a clue what's involved in becoming a NASA astronaut. They probably assume she was up there doing some light dusting and cooking.

Agree! Why didnt she mention how old the male Astronaut looked? I cant stand Lorraine. She is well past her sell by date and needs to be replaced by someone younger and fresher and more in touch with a new generation of audience

I hope the Sunita and her male colleague are adjusting well to being back on earth. There were times when I worried that things wouldn’t end well. But thankfully they did and NASA had it all under control.

Lorraine Kelly! It is a wonder she is still on TV. Can anyone please explain why they think she is, because I don’t get it! I don’t watch her but I do remember her being on tv many years ago and I have seen some of her comments/opinions in the media.

I mean she spoke about other aspects about being a female astronaut didn't she? She spoke about the impact on the body etc etc the thing about the hair dye was an add on to the conversation, also Lorraine is a flippant morning television programme they talk about clothes and hair and also health, it isn't supposed to be heavy, why do you watch it OP ?

I’ve always said I think LK knows where the bodies are buried.
