Good Morning All! What's everyone doing today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa, in my kitchen spot, in silence. The kittens have vanished off upstairs somewhere & the girls are still sleeping so it's lovely down here 😊

I have absolutely no plans for the day, other than a load or two of washing & thinking about tea later on. I think I might upload a handful of things on Vinted, read some of my book, watch an online training video for work, and make a slow start on some more peg dolls. Most of that can be done sitting down 🤣

Dd2 is off out today with her friend. They always wander up to the big Tesco for a meal deal or snacks, and head to the park to eat. She'll probably be back quite early so she can get an early shower and wash her hair (it's really long & takes ages to dry).

Dd1 has homework to finish off & will probably spend half the day mooching doing not very much else.

I have no idea what's for tea - nothing was taken out of the freezer yesterday & I cba to look what's in there yet so 🤷‍♀️. Whatever it is will be followed by an early shower, some sort of sweet treat, and an early night ready for work tomorrow 💤

Morning. Rugby, a bit of shopping the spending the rest of this sunny afternoon in my mums garden with the family.

An easy Sunday today - need to get work and school washing done this morning and will do a bit more decluttering in my bedroom, having been doing a little every week and really starting to see progress now.

This afternoon might try to get DD12 out for a bit of a walk as supposed to stay sunny here today but cold - my type of weather! Then online shop late afternoon and might start watching Modern Family this evening as need a new series to get into.

Been up since 7am (Sunday is the only day we don't set an alarm as well - typical). Breakfasts all done, just running a bath for youngest as she is allowing me to wash her hair. She has some sensory issues with having her hair washed so we're down to once a week at the moment.

I'm finally feeling a bit better after a 3 week flare of an illness, leaving me pretty much unable to walk but I'm still needing to rest quite a lot.

We've used all the batch cooked food in the freezer so today I'm making a pot of bolognese, a stew and a curry to replenish the freezer supply (can do the prep all at once and have it all on at the same time so it's not too much hard work)

Kids all going out soon with DP to meet their uncles and cousins at a big adventure playground and then off to inlaws for a roast dinner. I'll be meeting them there about 3pm.

This evening will be homework / baths and a few episodes of Young Sheldon. We watch 2 episodes a night and we're so close to the end I'm feeling sad. It's the only thing we all enjoy to watch together!!

Feel like I'm coming down with a cold so trying to stave it off with vitamins and fluid.

Morning all, I sent letters first thing and had been planning to go to the swings before the children got there first but it's cold! Sunny but cold.

So just a nice simple lunch of vegetarian sausages, mash and peas with onion gravy and housework. I'll call around my friend's at 10.30am as doubt he's up yet

Topsy44 I need to seriously declutter my bedroom - think I will try doing a little each week. I get overwhelmed by tasks & this would help. I now have an incentive as DSIL is coming to stay when we’re away next month & as we don’t have a spare room, she’ll be in our bed.

Im up trying to manoeuvre children to various places.

Now sat in garden with the dog as it’s a beautiful morning. Can hear the birds, it’s so lovely.

I’ve had such a busy weekend. Lots of fun with friends but need a big catch up now of chores and shopping and ironing. Plus the dog needs a good walk.

DH is taking the children out this afternoon so we will divide the chores until he goes.

Really not sure about tea. Looking for inspiration.

I am celebrating because I just had the best night's sleep I've had in weeks. Thank goodness! I've been starting to understand why disturbed sleep is a form of torture.

I've just cut out a dress pattern. We're going to go for a walk soon and perhaps a coffee and then I'll start sewing the dress. I also need to get some lesson planning sorted this afternoon. I usually try to avoid working at the weekend, but sadly unavoidable today.

We're having a lazy-ish dinner of bought pies, roasted new potatoes and carrots, plus savoy cabbage. DP made banana bread on Friday (his speciality - he doesn't cook much!) so we have that for later too.

This all sounds very sensible and boring, I'm afraid.

beautiful and sunny here and DD is desperate to walk the lovely day we met on borrow my dog so doing that this morning, via Clarke’s in the way back as she needs new school shoes. Then cooking meatballs and some sort of pear and frangipane pie for dinner. Hopefully fit in a bit of time with my book at some point too.

Good morning @lucysmam and followers, a beautiful, blue-skied, sunny, frosty morning here.
I didn’t sleep well, again, so will run out of oomph by mid afternoon, if not sooner!
have just hung out the first load of washing, changed the bed and put a second load in. I’ve hoovered through upstairs (DH said he did it Friday but I have my doubts 🙄), I was out at art group then.
i too have no idea what’s for dinner, I cba to poke around in the freezer either! If necessary it’ll be jacket spuds and tuna mayonnaise.
We off to collect our new little rescue dog this week so having a couple of nights away. I have started packing bits, as it’s only two nights a small bag will do. Our present dog will probably have stuff than me!

Good morning @lucysmam & the Sunday gang. In bed having had a cuppa with DH. We woke early as per but went back to sleep until 7.45. I love Sunday mornings when I don’t have to go to work later. Might get up in a bit as my tummy is being very vocal! Really fancy a bacon sarnie but I didn’t buy bacon so it could be tricky 🤣🤣 Recently discovered some extra thick cut bacon in Asda & it’s some of the best I’ve had from a supermarket. The dishwasher needs emptying & there’s a few bits to go in plus handwashing which has been by the sink for quite a while. Not much planned for today. I’m looking after DM this afternoon & will see DBro when he arrives to stay with her & DF. He’s been coming down more often to support DF which is good. Easy tea of sausages, double cream mash & baked beans.

Dh & Dd are taking all the dogs out for a long walk on the moors.
Ds is still at his friends having slept over last night. I expect he’ll appear sometime this afternoon.
I’m about to do the food shop, might treat myself to a McDonald’s breakfast on the way 😁

This afternoon will be cleaning the house, then going to the pet shop to get all the animals food 😑

I have lots I should be doing but a friend dropped around with a book I want to read, so I’m not betting on much productivity.

Morning folks! Still in bed but I’ll emerge soon enough for breakfast. On my mind today is cleaning the kitchen surfaces and inside the fridge; putting away all the clothes in the bedroom floordrobe; clearing the bedroom surfaces; cleaning the toilets and a bit of client work. I’m thinking soup and garlic bread might be dinner. I might bake a chocolate banana bread loaf later on, too.

Nice lazy start here, still in bed with dogs acting as blankets, they were groomed yesterday so smell clean and coats are fluffy.

Will head downstairs shortly for a cuppa and to start sticking washes on.

Rest of day will include dog walks and reading.

Quiet day here - I've been for my run, ds2 and Dh have gone to rugby so I've got the house to myself for a few hours.
I'm going to get some school prep done this morning and chuck a chicken in the oven for Sunday lunch.
That's as far as I've got. Dh and I might go for a walk this afternoon and I've got some bulbs to put in the garden if the sun comes out - it's a bit grey and cold at the moment.

Morning everyone. A lovely, sunny morning here. March has been a lovely month so far. I've dropped DD to work and I'm going to have a shower and wash my hair shortly. Then I'll drive to Dad's house and take him out to lunch.

Just did the food shop and now I'm waiting for DS to finish circus school and we'll go home and have lunch. After that me and my brother will take DS cross-country skiing as I seem to be recovering from my cold now.

DD has circus school after DS's group finishes then she needs to study for a bunch of exams she missed when she was ill last week.

Think we'll all play Uno later.

Was up early to run with DH, DS and friends. Now relaxing for a bit. Later need to drive DH and his friend to the station. Otherwise absolutely no plans. Feel like I am at the start of a bit of cystitis though which sucks.

I’m sat having a cuppa washing out as it’s a lovely sunny day if a bit cold then quickly clean thru and then we are goin to harvestor for dinner and then popping into a supermarket for a bottle of wine as plan on having that whilst I watch the new drama on tonite with Siobhan finneran . Good morning all and happy Sunday!

I’m on my second coffee now, just waiting until Ikea opens so we can go and pick up a few things we need (DP’s been keeping a list which has been growing for months!). We had tomato, mozarella and fresh basil on Brick Lane bagels for breakfast so might just get a hotdog from Ikea for a small-ish lunch.

Then on to a whip round the supermarket to stock up for the week, quite a lot of laundry to get through and a bit of house sorting for the rest of the afternoon. We’re having lazy Charlie Bigham’s meals from the freezer (we get them on yellow label fairly regularly at our local Waitrose), so a nice low-key evening, hopefully followed by a moment to start my new book before an early night.

@chickenfordinner, @frozendaisy , @FayKnights , really well, thanks for asking! Dd went off to do some taster sessions with the other prospective students & commented several times that the time flew & she liked the professors. We wandered aimlessly for the rest of the day but saw loads & are trying to convince dd2 to come for a day with us over the Easter break. We did get to Coal Drops @FayKnights but later on in the day & most of the donuts had sold 😥...we'll just have to go back so there's a bigger selection & we definitely get one dd2 will eat!

@Zippedydodah jacket spuds are a shout! I'll have a look see if we have any big-ish spuds 😋
