It's been a while since we had a thread on this topic. Why did you choose your user name? I love the variety on here.

Mine is lyrics from a Cure song....

Mine is literally the truth. I have been known to eat them 3/4 times a day for days on end. (I do make my own etc I don’t mean McDonald’s etc). I will watch videos of new ideas and recipes as well etc. I appreciate all that is a burger (unless there’s an egg one one, that’s a bit strange!).

CollaterlieSistersSister · 25/02/2025 20:25

I’m (not really) the relative of a character from one of the finest TV comedies these Isles have ever seen.

DameCelia · 25/02/2025 20:26

I'm Dame Celia Molestrangler
Famous film star and radio actor

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 25/02/2025 20:28

It's from the TV series Dark

SodOffbacktoaibu · 25/02/2025 20:29

Mine was a name change because I was pissed off with people being really mean on a thread because it was in active threads as if it was....AIBU. It's my alter ego. I'm much ruder under this username Grin

SofaSpuds · 25/02/2025 20:34

I'm a lazy couch potato 🥔 😴

CleanShirt · 25/02/2025 20:34

Mine is an excellent Peep Show insult.

CleanShirt · 25/02/2025 20:34

Mine is an excellent Peep Show insult.

Brilliant 😁

Funnywonder · 25/02/2025 20:50

I had to look it up. Apparently Funny Wonder was a comic book from the early 1900s. But I got it from MIL who used to call DS1 a funny wonder when he was small because he made her laugh. 'You know what you are? You're a funny wonder.' She probably picked it up from her own mum. I just liked the sound of it😅

MadamDicey · 25/02/2025 20:52

Mine is my derby name

Goody2ShoesAndTheFilthyBeast · 25/02/2025 20:53

Its a line from Father Goose.

EmiliaRuusuvuori · 25/02/2025 20:57

Mine is the female version of a male Finnish tennis player's name, I just liked the way his surname is pronounced.

Deedeesharpwhatkindoflady · 25/02/2025 21:14

A Northern soul record.

CarrieMoonbeams · 25/02/2025 21:21

My first name is actually Carrie, although very, very few people know that since I've gone by my middle name since I was about 11.

My username comes from an old song, it goes "Would you like to swing on a star, carry moonbeams home in a jar?". My granddad used to sing it to me when I was a child. He died when I was 3 and, weirdly, I don't remember what he looked like (just from photos) but I remember his voice.

Youagain2025 · 25/02/2025 21:27

Mine was due to someone following me and let's say not being very nice.

NormasArse · 25/02/2025 21:28

Mine, I believe, is self explanatory.

Ihateboris · 25/02/2025 21:29

Guess!

mnahmnah · 25/02/2025 21:31

Mine is a bad attempt at spelling the muppets song

Blownagail · 25/02/2025 21:32

I choose based on what I can see at the moment I'm choosing. So I could see the trees blowing in the wind and just got an email from someone called Gail.

SirDanielBrackley · 25/02/2025 21:32

Mine are generally characters from books I like.

UmopapIsdn · 25/02/2025 21:35

Turn your screen upside down to get mine Grin

SoonToBePinocchiosExWife · 25/02/2025 21:38

Mine is pretty self evident!

My mum used to sing that song when I was a kid!

Mine is from an expression I first head of in a Marina Hyde article, talking about the Boris administration. It's very Thick of It.

Lobsterteapot · 25/02/2025 21:40

From the Motherland Christmas episode when Kevin asks Julia where her fish kettle is and she says “next to my lobster teapot”

rainache · 25/02/2025 21:43

Currently suffering from awful toothache, it hurts so much it feels like my brain aches too! I wanted Brainache but it is already used so I took the B away instead!
