Yes, brilliant
Don’t know anything about the other programmes you mention, but I love Gilmour girls

CatamaranViper · 21/02/2025 21:18

Yes. But. Be prepared to feel horribly conflicted about most of the characters.

Allmarbleslost · 21/02/2025 21:19

Yes!

Also you'll end up speaking much faster and have an overwhelming desire for more coffee

coffeeagogo · 21/02/2025 21:19

I ended up hating all the characters with a passion

rainbowsparkle28 · 21/02/2025 21:20

Definitely yes!

SittingNextToIt · 21/02/2025 21:20

Every autumn. Without fail. Ever since it came out when I was the exact same age as Rory, going through the exact same school and uni year as her.

I am SO Rory, although DH insists I am Paris 🤣

Every autumn :)

Overtheatlantic · 21/02/2025 21:20

For Richard and Emily, yes!

Eldermilleniallyogii · 21/02/2025 21:20

Yes definitely

Isyesterdaytomorrowtoday · 21/02/2025 21:21

Yes, but not until late September. It’s the law.

Middlepiepush · 21/02/2025 21:22

I loved it too but thought Rory was a spoilt brat

Me too although I still watched all of it during lockdown.

Me too 😂
I can't even remember how it ended for Rory because her character was just so boring.
(I never even watched the one off special).

Seaside31 · 21/02/2025 21:23

It’s absolute crap, but in the best possible way 😂😍 Definitely worth a watch. Completely agree with @CatamaranViper though - terribly conflicted about most characters. Not Logan though. I love Logan 😂

MrsLeonFarrell · 21/02/2025 21:23

The older I get the more I sympathise with Emily. Both the Lorelais are unbearable.

ZenNudist · 21/02/2025 21:24

It's a snooze fest. The characters are 'whimsical'. I really can't stand any of the generations from Lorelei, her mum or Rory.

Sherararara · 21/02/2025 21:24

Loved it at the time but it hasn’t aged well at
all. Couldn’t watch it now.

Yep, snug, self centred and mean

JimHalpertsWife · 21/02/2025 21:26

Yes, in Autumn

I am an Autumn.

What about the third one?

CornishTeaTime · 21/02/2025 21:27

Well it will be from scratch so 7 x series...I know nothing about it, so is it worth it?????

GhostFacee · 21/02/2025 21:27

Not long finished watching it all through for the third time, proper comfort show … but I wouldn’t bother with the 2016 series ‘Gilmore Girls: A year in the life’ though

CatamaranViper · 21/02/2025 21:27

Yes. It's very autumnal so ideal to watch in September but it's fab.

Yes. You have to watch season 1 in its entirety. Whether you continue is up to you, but you need a full season to get on board.

Give it go..... you'll either love it or be massively irritated by the characters.
Remember - you can stop watching if you hate it 😂😂
