It’s a sport that is much more interesting once you understand the many many rules. The tactics behind it are insane and the players can’t just be physically amazing, their brains work on a whole other level to remember the plays and adapt.

This is nuts! It will be interesting if/how the chiefs come back in the second half. I was expecting it to be much closer than this.

To be honest I was a bit like that before I understood it more. I’m a nerd about it now and love when they have to bring on the rules expert to explain an obscure rule.

I never would’ve predicted it going this way. However the Chiefs are notorious for their fourth quarter comebacks. I’d love the Eagles to win but even 24-0 doesn’t feel safe.

My lad plays this sport and I can assure the doubters that it is neither poor man's anything nor pretending to be hard!

It’s really tough and also incredibly complex. They have a classroom training session every week to work on all the plays. And this is just at UK university level.

Anyway I had gone to bed but can’t sleep so have got up and cannot believe the half-time score

Visually it’s a great show but it’s not the sort of music you can sing along to. Maybe I’m showing my age a bit!

DH is watching but he actually enjoys the sport. I usually watch it for the spectacle but I am really not in the mood for all the Americana here in Canada this year.
