I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. I'd rather have still been sleeping after getting in from gig 1 of dd's year of gigs, for her 18th birthday, but Mountaineer Kitten had other ideas 🙄. He's gone off back to bed somewhere upstairs now & I'm considering snoozing on the sofa for an hour.

We haven't got anything much planned for today. I need to do a bit of prep for my lessons this week, and make a start on some peg dolls for work. And both girls have homework to be done, so they'll get on with that.

Dd2 asked dd1, yesterday, if she'd nip into town with her for some new trainers today so they'll do that at some point. And dd2's uniform needs washing...it conveniently made its way downstairs while I was out with dd1, so her PE kit and shirts were washed while we were out, but not trousers and jumper 🤷‍♀️. I'll put the washer on when I get up next & they can hopefully line dry for a while.

I have no idea what we're eating tonight - possibly a frozen pie, with chips, veg & gravy. That'll be followed by early showers and early nights ready for the coming week 💤💤

Good morning! We had our first coffees in bed a little while ago and I just had an excellent shower. Considering whether breakfast is needed. We're on holiday so are about to go off and walk up a famous hill (tbh apparently the bus goes up most of it, but even if not we'll just take our time).

It's our last full day on holiday but I think the walk is enough, followed by some sort of meal out this evening before getting home tomorrow.

I always want to know how comfy your kitchen chair spot is. Does it have cushions and a throw to be cosy? I’m so lazy on my days off that I have to be either back in bed with my first cup of tea or on the sofa 😂

I was woken with a lovely cup of tea by DH and am lying in bed with my phone and magazine - working up the energy to attack a crossword but might need my cappuccino for that!

Plan today is put away 6 loads of washing from Fri/Sat and do 3 more - it never ends and you have my sympathies with uniforms still upstairs when they should be in the laundry basket.

Then we’re going to go for a walk around lunchtime and drop into a cafe mid walk that apparently DD2 wants to go to as they do Yorkshire pudding wraps. I’m supposed to be on low/no carb so lord help me! I have zero willpower on weekends.

Then easy tea and snuggle down to watch some more Amanda and Alan in Spain.

I intermittent fast so no breakfast or cup of tea here. I'm just about to get dressed to go for a run but it's all frosty outside so not sure whether it's too slippery. It'll be a roast and watching the football later.

About to make a 2nd cup of coffee. Was out shopping with my mum yesterday, so today need to get the house in order and strip the beds etc.

DS2 has a football match at home today, then this afternoon will be chilling.
Think DS1 is off to the gym and OH is off to get a few bits for packed lunches.

Then it's showers all round 🙂

Just had a lovely long shower.
Breakfast has just been consumed (spinach and feta omelette).
Coffee is brewing.

And then it all goes to shit because I start work at 9am!

Still not great here, H still intermittently taking painkillers which he rarely does so I don't know about today.

GCSE work, Sunday Roast, a film or two. Who knows?

I have had a rare quiet weekend so feel very relaxed.

I'm still in bed but will get up for coffee and probably start putting my 1st of hundreds of baskets of washing on.

I'll probably walk the dog in a bit or perhaps go for a run then I will do the food shop. I'm into batch cooking so will make some home made soup.

I will also probably need to taxi the teenagers x4 around.

Good morning @lucysmam & everyone. One of my favourite times of the week - Sunday morning in bed with a cuppa, knowing that I don’t have work later ( I do alternate Sats & Suns). Just had some mini eggs. I bought a family sized packet but inevitably it hasn’t lasted very long! Nearly fell over when I saw they cost just under a fiver!! I might do a food shop today as I’m thinking of making a Thai green chicken curry in the slow cooker tomorrow. Written my meal plan for the week. We’re having bacon, egg & chips tonight. The dishwasher needs unloading & for a change there isn’t much to go in it. Pretty much up to date with the laundry for a change! Looking forward to seeing DBro & DSil at my folks’ house this afternoon. DBro comes down more often these days as DM’s health is deteriorating 😢 Hopefully DD16 will come too. She sometimes struggles with social situations. This evening will be Call The Midwife then trying to find a series to get into on Netflix or maybe a film.

I’ve had a coffee, fed the snoozing sighthound and made a to-do list. Yesterday afternoon was spent sleeping on the sofa so do need to be a little more productive today…

Got some bits to buy for our house renovation, cleaning the bathroom, hoovering and washing to do. A walk with the dog and then going to try out the various No7 potions I picked up in Boots yesterday morning. Hopefully I shall be radiant and youthful by tomorrow morning!

We're having a pyjama day with a toy story marathon due to everyone being under the weather with some virus. I've had virtually no sleep for 4 nights... 🫣
We've had coffee / warm milk followed by our typical Sunday croissant breakfast.
Back on the sofa now for the continuation of toy story 😁

I'll find the energy at some point to put a soup in the slow cooker for dinner...pork, potatoes and veg.

I'm on my second cup of coffee. This one at church while daughter does choir rehersal.
Service, coffee and choir school.
we will be home at 2pm. Needs to go shopping for cat litter and vegetables on the way home.
I plan to rest afterbdoing packed lunches. Husband can do tea. Watch Netflix, read a book and eat cookies.
I'm sick and tired of dealing with people so I plan to take an evening of from everyone and just enjoy myself.

Morning! 9 week old only woke up 1x last night and toddler got us up at 7:15 so I'm feeling pretty fresh. We're off to one of those National Trust estates this morning. Currently napping baby in the carrier while husband WWEs the toddler into his clothes and prepares lunches.

We're all up, DC3 is in the bath and the other two are watching Stranger Things.

Food shopping due soon then I'll batch cook a few things for the freezer. I always do a batch of Italian tomato sauce (we have it on pasta, with meatballs, with breaded chicken etc). Probably also a chilli.

After lunch DP is taking girls to meet their cousins for a few hours in the big park and DC1 is going to a friends for the afternoon so I'm going to clean.

Dinner is going to be roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli and garlic green beans.

Morning.
Leisurely bath and face mask/deep conditioner. Me time.
Walk as it looks cold but sunny for once.
Laundry as still have pe kits to wash.
Paneer masala curry to make for dinner.
2 hours marking and planning to fit in later.
Peaceful.

DD was away over night and not back until this evening .
Lots of laundry and domestic tasks for me today and then some work prep as I have a very busy week ahead.
Might pop to the shops for new work trousers as I need to smarten up a bit .

Good morning everyone, still in bed with a coffee, will go and have a shower now then make scrambled eggs on toast, listen to BBC6 and probably go for a long walk in Richmond park followed by a bit of food shop and a joint effort making roast pork with all the trimmings later this afternoon, love Sundays!

Just over a week after my first eye cataract surgery so taking things easy, being very careful re washing hair, showering etc which is a pain. Cataract surgery was ok if anyone due and dreading it, wish I hadn't spent so much time worrying beforehand. So lady of leisure today, DH doing all heavy lifting etc. Ordered an online shop and local pub delivering a delicious Roast dinner later, gluten free too, tried it last week and both loved it. Then evening of tv and chilling. Have a lovely day everyone.

Doggo and I are going to take a walk to a church that apparently has a 14th century hand sculpture hidden in its boundary wall. It's supposedly hard to find, but good luck when you do and put your own hand on it.

I'm discovering so much about the town I've lived in for 6yrs since rehoming doggo!

I've had two coffees and two slices of bread and butter. I'm listening to Radio 3 and enjoying the serenity. Later I'm meeting a friend for lunch at a local restaurant. I haven't seen her in a while, so there will be much catching up to do. After that, I'll visit mum in hospital. Salmon for dinner with salad. Have a nice day everyone

I’m in the bath, a cold one, I did a long hyrox training session today so I’m doing a bit of recovery, once I’m out of here I’ve got some recovery compression trousers to wear.

Our daughter, dog and cat are all in the bathroom, our daughter had a massive strop because the bath water is cold, she’s currently grumbling because I won’t empty the bath and put hot water in, so she is laying on the floor and being very dramatic, she is of course stopping every so often to see if I’m watching her performance. Husband and son have gone out to buy some bits for lunch.

I have no idea what we’re doing this afternoon, maybe a garden centre and then a park near by.

Had my tea and toast and enjoying a bit of peace before DD12 surfaces.

I need to get on with some washing and a bit of housework today as we were out for most of the day yesterday seeing my Mum. Although it’s lovely and sunny here today so might see if I can persuade DD to go out for a brisk walk this afternoon and she’s got some homework to do before tomorrow.

I also need to dig out some paperwork today to look in to what pension I’m likely to get - one of the jobs I keep promising I will do but always goes on the back burner but at 53 I need to get on with it now!!

Call the Midwife tonight and will probably do a Spaghetti Bol.

I had a lovely lie-in until 8.30 - woke up at 6.30 a bit cross but managed to doze back off.
I've prepared beef pie (filling is in the slow cooker) and apple crumble - ds1 is back briefly today from visiting his gf at uni before he heads back off this evening, so we'll have a late lunch together.
Dh and ds2 have just gone off to rugby so I've a couple of hours to myself to get some school prep done.
Hopefully I'll squeeze in a game of scrabble with ds1 before he goes back to uni...it's his latest obsession, which is odd and incongruous if you knew him, (6'4 beer-drinking rugby player that he is...) but also lovely.

I've woken up feeling absolutely battered by what I suspect is this winter virus doing the rounds. In laws round today for Sunday lunch and I am not feeling it one bit. However they still want to come and my dp is looking forward to seeing his parents so I will solider on. He doesn't get to see them that much so I don't mind really.

House is relatively tidy so will quickly whiz the vac round whilst dp hits Sainsbury's.

Early showers/baths all round and will watch an episode of Beast Games with the kids before early nights for all I think.

2 weeks before half term, I have also booked the week off so counting down the days!
