If it helps, my approach is to wait until I have a bit of information - 2 or 3 lines depending on how successful my guesses are at ruling in or out - and then I just play around with the various options. That’s where the logic comes in for me. I work out which letter combinations it can’t or must be by doing that. And then from that often you can rule things in or out. I start with a hypothesis each time and if it looks like there’s a guess to be made I go for it. Today I spent about 30 minutes doing that before I worked out what felt like the only possible word!

Well some of my guesses actually panned out today. I do think it's easier when you get 0 letters in a word! 😂

@Philthefridge that is sort of my strategy but sometimes it just seems to take forever to have the guesses work out!

My strategy, which clearly didn't work today, is to pick the most obvious/common letters from my first guesses and assume they are correct until proven otherwise.
