Who does your DC(s) look like?

Their dad?
A rare combination of both?
Neither, but a throwback to a previous generation?

A friend has two DCs of the same sex.
One is the absolute spit of her, the other is their dad in miniature - they think it's hilarious just how uncanny it is.

Mine goes - eldest is more like dad, youngest is more me.
Middlest is probs 75/25 in dad's favour.

Mine both look like their Dad, especially DS Who is just a clone of DH really. I struggle to see me in either DC. Bit rude after I put all that effort in to make them 😂

DS1 is the image of DH (& now taller than him too!). DD like me mostly, but occasionally looks a bit like DH/SIL. DS2 is like 2 of his cousins - 1 child in each of 3 families with red hair and pale skin, hazel eyes etc. I know my grandmother was a redhead, but no idea about DH's side and believe it is needed from both sides to come through.

DS 1 is 24 he somehow manages to look just like me and his dad. Weirdly I look just like my dad but DS manages to look like my mum not my dad.

DS 2 is 15 and looks nothing like either side. He is completely his own person. If you told me he was swapped at birth I wouldn’t be surprised. I do love the little weirdo though 😂

DS is a mix of us.

DH is white and I’m mixed race, an East Asian country and white English.
He has his Fathers families height and is 6ft 4, my family are tiddly people.
He has East Asian colouring and has a warm light olive tone skin, very dark brown almond shape eyes.

Me. Dts can open my iPhone on face recognition.

One of my ds's is dh's double..
He isn't his biological df!! A woman at the school gate joked was I sure??!!
1 dd double of me as a dc..
1 like me now.
One ds like my dgf even down to the same birthmark..
2 ds's same chin dimple like dgf.
Some of my dc have different df's but all connect looks wise somehow!!

Her paternal grandmother, who she never knew because GM died of cancer before DD was born.

My DS is the image of me even now he Is fully grown, so much so his father demanded a DNA test as I'm fair and blond and ex H is dark and swarthy with strong features.
DNA showed he was the father so haha.

My DD looks very like me and my DS looks very like his dad. This has actually caused us a few problems because we made assumptions about their personalities based on their appearance when actually, DS is very like me and DD is like her dad personality wise...

DD1 is my double but with darker eyes. They come from my Dad.
DD2 looks like her maternal grandmother, and very much like her great, great grandmother. I did find a photo recently where she looked like SIL though.
DS has my face shape and his dad's eyes, despite MIL being determined he's the spit of DH. His height comes from my side too.
My niece has the same bone structure as well.

They all have their dad's mannerisms - not always a good thing!

Dd1 very like me

Dd2 very like her dad and her dad's sister, but also very like DD1. (DH and I look quite alike and have been mistaken for siblings)

DS doesn't look like any of us. He and his twin are in Y11 and some teachers still don't know they are twins (common surname).
