Or is it Stacey. I don’t even know what this show is about, who is in it, when it started, or why it seems to be such a big deal. I’m not interested enough to Google and I’ve only seen it mentioned (numerous times) on MN. I feel slightly out of the loop but too disinterested to do anything further about it than writing this post.

To me, Alison Steadman will always be Beverley in Abigail’s party. ( showing my age there )

And Mrs Bennett. I think she’s superb.

I love Gavin & Stacey, it’s clever, but if you’ve never watched it the finale would’ve been a bit weird tbh.

I hadnt watched until Boxing Day when I started binge watching it, I'm really enjoying it!

Everyone can't like everything. The whole country doesn't watch and enjoy Gavin and Stacey. Just like the whole country didn't love Only Fools and Horses, or Fawlty Towers. But a lot did. G&S is the closest we've had to that wonderful character driven comedy with a narrative that people care about.

I've never watched Strictly. Should I post about that?!

I find American shows that are supposed to be humorous painfully unfunny. The canned laughter is particularly grating. Each to their own, I guess
