Has anyone ever found out that they're taller than they are?

I have always thought I was 5'7. I had a drs appointment where they took height and weight and I'm 5'8.5! Has anyone else ever has this happen to them? I feel so tall all of a sudden 😂

That’s unusual to discover you’re an inch and a half taller, if your height has always been 5 ft 7 anytime you’ve been measured before, l’d personally question this.Your dr either got it wrong or were you wearing shoes.Maybe get it checked again, l think pharmacy’s or they used to have a place where you can measure your b.m.i and height yourself.Always best to take your shoes though to get a accurate measurement.

Doctors always let me slouch when I was measured. I thought that's how you were supposed to. Like it was cheating to stand up straight lol. Friends who were 5'3 always gave me the side eye when I said I was their height. I never knew why. My husband measured me because he also knows 5'3 people and I'm taller than every single one. He thought I was lying to seem cuter and smaller. I'm just dense.

He told me to stand up straight, and I was a hair over 5'4. I'm amazed that anyone's doctors cared to ask their patients to stand up straight. I'm in my thirties and not a single one asked.

My asthma nurse weighs me in shoes. I'm it makes no sense as any other medic weighs me barefoot. My height is recorded as 5'1, 5'2.5 and 5'3 over several medical notes.

I always thought I was 5,2 but I can't be sure anymore
