Does anyone want a Blossom thread? Not sure if I'll keep doing it but saw this recommended on another thread and I find it more fun than NYT Spelling Bee. (Which you can't get far on for free anyway).

My score is never as high as the ones on here! Not been doing it for long though.

It takes a while to get the knack of getting the most out of the words you can find - saving them for when the bonus letter is going to be repeated for the highest score possible e.g. if you could get 'repeated' you'd save it for when the bonus letter was 'e'.

Very hard today, had to keep coming back to it to try to see what I might have missed

I always have a look through the list of possible solutions afterwards, especially for pangrams I've missed. Today's left me saying 'what? What??' I don't feel bad about missing those 🤣

I know! I don't know about you but I'm in the UK and like to think that I have a reasonable grasp of the English language but some days it's just bizarre.

A friend of mine gave me a tip: if you can think of a word ending in -ness, Blossom will always accept the plural eg -nesses.

So a lot of my words today ended that way!

Useful! I didn't know most of these were really words but worth trying. Although it loses the fun a bit when I'm driven to guessing things I don't know are a word or playing 3 versions of one I do.

I tried a not obscure word with lots of S-es but it isn't in their dictionary. 🤔
