Does anyone want a Blossom thread? Not sure if I'll keep doing it but saw this recommended on another thread and I find it more fun than NYT Spelling Bee. (Which you can't get far on for free anyway).

I think you have to be strategic with your words and save them up for when they'll get the highest score. So if you've got a word with 3 Ss, you need to wait until the S is highlighted in yellow so you can get the bonus points. Obviously I then forget what the best words are...

Also, if you don't use the highlighted letter, it'll stay highlighted until you have used it. So if it's one that's hard to use you need to make sure you do, even with a crap word, so you can move onto something with a higher score.

I struggled as well. Not too bad a score but took me a lot of thinking time and some words were slight variations of the same.

@BarnacleBeasley I like that you can dip in and out too. I'm just learning the knack of using the right word at the right time as well. I type it in and screenshot it so I don't forget. There is also shuffle that can help sometimes. And spotting prefixes and suffixes to try and use (-ing!) Today I saw quite a few almost words where I was missing a letter though (e, r), frustrating.
