It's a reward after a very hard week

On my own tonight. Chippy tea sounds fab.

But I think I'll do a bacon mushroom pasta dish. With chilli and a lot ...like a snow drift..of Parmesan. And a large red wine.

Nachos from a food van and a hot chocolate at our local lights trail 😋

Tuna salad and jacket potatoes.

Might be beans on toast in this house.

Went to a funeral today and there was an excellent buffet complete with fat chips, so we kind of had a full meal at lunchtime.

Made a curry for tea tonight ☺️

I was trying a Raymond Blanc recipe for home-made sausages.

Erm, pork burgers are now resting in the fridge, I could not get the mix to look anything remotely resembling sausages.
They will be accompanied by pommes frites á la airfryer & petit pois á la francaise.
So, buggers, chips & fancy peas.

Friday, so I had battered haddock, chips and mushy peas. Home cooked not from chippy.
With a delicious bottle of Robinsons "Old Tom".

I've just had two pistachio croissants that my daughter left for me. Absolutely delicious!

Just ordered a curry. Paneer tikka starter and a veggie dopiaza for me, with chilli naan to share.

Oh goodness, probs nothing, nothing in 😞

DH made lamb madras.

Goats cheese beetroot and walnut salad. It’s only me tonight so I’m making the most of it!

Made a pot of cream of leek and potato soup with homemade croutons. Perfect for this weather.
