Following with interest. What sort of binding are you after? I like leather ones and clothbound ones but haven't seen any nice ones this year. Amazon used to be good for them but now they seem to be flooded with cheap cardboard rubbish.

If you really want to push the boat out you can order a personalised leather diary from Smythson!

Smythson?

WildFigs · 27/11/2024 18:18

Papier diaries are £25, personalisable and they have countless designs.

Smythson lovely but out of budget.

coffeeandteav · 27/11/2024 18:18

Pirongs maybe. Though maybe more planners sure they do diaries, you can custom make them.

Growsomeballswoman · 27/11/2024 18:18

Smythson is a bit out of my budget unfortunately

I like WH Smiths diaries and notebooks. They're usually 10 - 20 in price and I've had some nice ones from there.

BeachHutsAndDeckchairs · 27/11/2024 18:20

Ottergami do lovely bullet journal books with great paper - no bleeding or feathering even with my wettest fountain pen.

Peter Pauper Press have some beautiful notebooks with good paper that takes a fountain pen well.

Paperblanks make beautiful notebooks but their paper is not the best for my fountain pen - there is some feathering with anything other than an extra fine nib.

GoodIsGoodEnough · 27/11/2024 18:20

Papier have gorgeous ones and you can personalise them.

If you use this link, it gets you £10 off a £25 spend, so you can use the extra in your budget to buy some gorgeous add ons!

Papier

Ooh the Papier ones are gorgeous!

Gardendiary · 27/11/2024 18:21

I love flame tree publishing for this kind of thing - although they are a good bit cheaper than you have suggested.

DGPP · 27/11/2024 18:21

Another vote for Papier, mine last all year, are pretty and can be personalized

Growsomeballswoman · 27/11/2024 18:22

I'm looking at Papier

I have a lovely one from Aspinal of London, with my initials engraved.

Leuchtturm1917 also have some nice ones.

Horses7 · 27/11/2024 18:23

My diary isn’t expensive and I only use it as a reminder not in retrospect. I always used a week to view but then came across diaries which are a month to view - brilliant and have used them for 3 years now.

JaneandtheLaundry · 27/11/2024 18:23

@GoodIsGoodEnough Thanks for that, just signed up. 😁

The referrer is offered £10 off in the form of credit on their Papier account for each friend who orders for the first time and spends above the minimum spend required.

GoodIsGoodEnough · 27/11/2024 19:51

@CurlyhairedAssassin I thought that information was on the link, it shows on the landing page when I looked.

Even if people didn't want to use the link, I'd still be recommending the diaries. I am not sure how someone getting £10 off something is a cause for a snotty post, which includes my name. Completely unnecessary.

Milkand2sugarsplease · 27/11/2024 23:14

Happy Planners are stunning.

If money was no object I'd say Erin Condren

And I do love my Filofax too.

I have this one and it's absolutely beautiful. It's only A5 though.

healthybychristmas · 27/11/2024 23:43

Actually that might not be the right link. It's the right design but mine is A5 and it's a notepad I think rather than a diary.

Perplexed20 · 27/11/2024 23:47

I swapped from a Papier to a flametree one
