Hello! I am after some posh fancy delicious peanut butter for my DDs stocking - she is a PB addict. She likes Pip N Nut but I would like to get something different if you can recommend me some delicious ones.

Thank you

Meridian or Aldi's. No additives.

LittleRedRidingHoody · 15/11/2024 09:04

We're big Skippy fans here - definitely not the healthiest choice but it's yum 😋 Can't find it everywhere but our local Sainsbury's normally has stock (and you can get massive tubs in Costco!)

Pootles34 · 15/11/2024 09:05

Skippy.

These guys are good if you like huge chunks of peanuts in your PB. Available from poncy grocers or online.

I was going to say Pip and Nut but you already use it.What about some almond butter so it's a little different?Pop into a Waitrose- you'll find some fancy stuff/different butters there.

LilacLilyBird · 15/11/2024 09:07

Sunpat

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 15/11/2024 09:08

Whole earth Skippy

Bbqnights · 15/11/2024 09:12

Have you tried all the different pip and nut flavours? The crunchy sweet and salty one is amazing!

JC03745 · 15/11/2024 09:13

I always get one without palm oil and its just crushed nuts. Generally whole earth.
Does she like other butters? Almond, cashew etc?
I love peanut chocs like Reeces too 😋

Timezoneissues · 15/11/2024 09:13

I would suggest ManiLife. I think they have festive flavours too. I love pip&nut too but if you want to mix it up ManiLife might be good. It says 'peanutbutter like no other' and I thought 'typical marketing slogan' but then thought they were actually right 😀

Doggymummar · 15/11/2024 09:13

Skippy

Jollyjoy · 15/11/2024 09:14

Oh definitely ManiLife. Nothing compares!

Doggymummar · 15/11/2024 09:15

I used to have Manulife when I was Keto, but I prefer Skippy

unclebuck · 15/11/2024 09:15

Thanks so so much! Manilife dark roast is addictive!
I love Skippy too :)
I suppose I am looking for some novelty as well for the stocking.
I am so hungry reading this.

I'm sure I've seen peanut butter and marmite mixes before? Can't remember the brand. But might be good for the novelty factor!

succulentlove · 15/11/2024 09:18

It's not posh but the Sainsbury's own brand smooth or crunchy peanut butter is my favourite. It's 100% peanuts and very spreadable, doesn't go dry and gloopy like some others. Worth a try for "novelty"?

TribulationPeriwinkle · 15/11/2024 09:31

Another vote for Manilife dark roast. We buy the massive tubs.

Bjorkdidit · 15/11/2024 09:38

Lots of ideas here

Depends whether you think she wants to try a different brand of peanut butter, a different nut butter or a different but similar type of spread. Sometimes people like the original, eg I hate it when people buy me pink or flavoured gin, because I only really like the normal kind.

I've bought DP Crave Sir Spread a Lot because he likes the rapper Sir Mix a Lot so hopefully he'll think it's funny if nothing else.

I'm guessing your daughter eats Pip & Nut as it only has peanuts in it and no palm oil or sugar. It would be such a waste if you bought something she couldn't eat. Even if you had the best intentions. I'm only saying this as I use the same company for that very reason. ☺️

GerundTheBehemoth · 15/11/2024 09:54

I like Proper Nutty.

Puffinlamb23 · 15/11/2024 09:56

Meridian.

Martiniolives · 15/11/2024 09:57

As others have said, quite literally no PB on the market comes close to manilife dark roast imo!

BaronessBomburst · 15/11/2024 09:57

Whole Earth has always been my favourite.

Puffinlamb23 · 15/11/2024 09:58

Unless she already eats peanut butter with additives, it might be best to avoid things like Skippy. It has added sugar, salt and seed oils. Nice as a treat, but sometimes once kids start eating things like this they're reluctant to go back to the healthier versions.

Branleuse · 15/11/2024 09:58

Skippy or sunpat crunchy.
Cant be doing with healthy ones.
