Hello! I am after some posh fancy delicious peanut butter for my DDs stocking - she is a PB addict. She likes Pip N Nut but I would like to get something different if you can recommend me some delicious ones.

Thank you

Another vote for Manilife dark roast here.

I used to love marmite peanut butter too but it's been discontinued now <sob>

I would probably stick with Pip & Nut if that's what she likes but maybe get some of their chocolate nut butter cups to go in the stocking or a small jar of special chocolate spread or jam that she can use alongside her usual Pip & Nut peanut butter spread.

I'm enjoying Yumello's salted date crunchy peanut butter at the moment.

Subpar is the only good peanut butter that tastes like peanut butter should. Skippy would be a close second.

Whole but butter and all those supposedly healthy ones....NO.

Blueuggboots · 15/11/2024 10:37

Subpar - what a hilarious autocorrect!!! 😀😀

SUNPAT.

Skippy Extra Crunchy here too. You can get massive tubs on Amazon.

I would suggest ManiLife. I think they have festive flavours too. I love pip&nut too but if you want to mix it up ManiLife might be good. It says 'peanutbutter like no other' and I thought 'typical marketing slogan' but then thought they were actually right 😀

I was also going to suggest Manilife. Their dark roast is a whole other being.

Scampuss · 15/11/2024 12:19

I really didn't like Manilife.

Since the demise of Nifty Nut Butters, I'm going to have a go at making my own. My Mum already does and she says it's really easy as long as you have a food processor.

I found this amazing peanut butter shop in Amsterdam

https://depindakaaswinkel.nl

I don’t know about delivery outside NL but they had so many different types of PB and no nasty ingredients.

This looks INCREDIBLE

Thanks everyone - I think I'll get some of the flavoured manilife ones to try :)

Manilife do a mince pie flavour - I loved it (bought by accident, in October)

ChopstickNovice · 16/11/2024 07:02

Freda's, or Manilife!!

Deathraystare · 16/11/2024 07:06

Can I ask what ones are not too sweet? Stayed at my brother's and had some that was very tasty but forgot to ask him about it. It came in a clear tub with I think green writing on it. He normally shops at Tesco and Lidl but I guess may have got it from Amazon.

WhereAreWeNow · 16/11/2024 07:11

EliCopter · 16/11/2024 07:25

A posh alternative to Pip & Nut is Butter Nut of London which is made in the UK and sold in Harvey Nicks

Butterbike - lots of flavours. Small independent uk company which started in Exeter, now moved to Hampshire I think.
DH loves PB and I buy a mixed box of 6 for him every Christmas .
