@ClaraSais Music book is a one word title. You used the word.

womblemum · 15/11/2024 22:10

The very last one I got was the barbershop quartet and it’s the book I’m reading at the moment😩!

ClaraSais · 15/11/2024 22:13

Thanks all for them all apart from that strong woman poster which I bet is really obvious but I’m just daft

You have literally just written one of them here just now

MadisonAvenue · 16/11/2024 00:04

You’ve got the answer right there, as for Sting…put that together with what the bees might do to him.

AlleycatMarie · 16/11/2024 00:10

Just discovered this thread this evening and knew nothing about this challenge. Have spent the evening completing it. Was really stuck on the child with toys one; didn’t help that I was convinced it was a stork!

narrucO1 · 16/11/2024 06:33

I have entered the name of the book for the travel section and I keep getting the "Nearly, try again" message - I have tried putting "the" in front of the title but that doesn't work, has anybody any ideas please ?

InMySpareTime · 16/11/2024 07:50

@narrucO1 sometimes clicking off the clue then clicking back to it and entering the title again "unsticks" it.
The travel title definitely starts with the.

Thank you all so much for your helpful hints. I'm finding this year quite difficult and am still stuck on Travel and Cocktails. I know some hints have been dropped, but I'm being thick.

Both of those clues are actually quite simple so don't overthink it.

Travel - what sort of place are those books about? The .....

Cocktail - not the whole thing just the place name

gamesnight · 16/11/2024 11:28

Thank you all for the help. I was extra thick this year, but finally finished.

honeylulu · 16/11/2024 12:45

Finished too thanks to the excellent clues here for the ones I was stuck on (quite a lot of them!)

Silvers11 · 16/11/2024 12:49

Finally got them all!! Thanks for all the clues on here. Very helpful

I'm clearly missing very obvious things because some of my missing ones are things people have not been asking about.

I'm missing the map, the travel books and the cocktails.

The map I can't really tell what's going on. Joys of shitty vision and small screens (DH smugly got the Oceania one because I thought it was a car exhaust) so no idea

The cocktails I've tried every New York related cocktail name I can think of and looked through 2024 bestseller lists and can't find anything with a cocktail name.

The travel books. Beach related? There seems to be different UK/GB countries represented so some sort of travel around the country? With beaches?

The cocktails really annoyed me, and I eventually got it by accident (pure guess). Thing about where Montauk is.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 16/11/2024 14:10

@Ekal

For the cocktail I kept trying the state name as it makes more sense - very annoying

Peridot1 · 16/11/2024 14:21

Thanks for all the help on this thread. I wouldn’t have gotten half of them without you all!

mamareadsbooks · 16/11/2024 14:28

What springs to mind when you look at the picture of the woman in the poster? What KIND of a woman is she - and what is another word for a woman?

Edited

Strong, confident, smart, clever, intelligent.. I've tried combinations of all of them 😭😂 along with women, woman, lady, ladies, girl, girls, female, females 😂 am I missing something that's obvious? or am I overthinking it way too much? lol

mamareadsbooks · 16/11/2024 14:50

Omg FINALLY I'm finished!! I got it after pasting all of them into Google 😣 lol never heard of that book though 😑 really am not impressed at all at some of the clues this year.. 😕

narrucO1 · 16/11/2024 16:21

The book is a fairly recent autobiography of a female comedian.

AutumnalLeaves38 · 16/11/2024 16:35

The comedian's first name is a feathery green plant.

Her surname is a famous old American sitcom family name.
