I watched Neighbours daily while pregnant. If my then born baby cried or grizzled, I would hum the theme tune and dd would settle. Worked right up until she was a year old.
Oh The Wedding. Loved it. Loved 'Suddenly'.
More simple times for me.

Bouncer's dream !

I was a student. We cried watching both lunchtimes and teatime episodes. My flatmates bought me Suddenly for my birthday. Oh happy times!

My DD (now 37) loved the theme tune. I still have the vinyl 45 rpm.

At the time I was a nursery nurse student working in a primary school and I did my utmost to find a job outside of the classroom and sneak into the TV room to watch that afternoon episode. I did think that Scott/Jason looked a bit weird though?
Neighbours back then was a measure of time wasn't it? We'll meet after neighbours. Ring me after Neighbours. I have to be home in time for Neighbours. Oh happy days!

I had the Jason Donovan jigsaw game.

Oh that just made me tear up! I've had labs and border collies in my lifetime. I adored Bouncer!

My mum also watched neighbours religiously when pregnant.

I was grounded the day before this was shown and my mum made me miss it even though she knew it was a huge deal. Wasn't allowed to record it either. Parents were nails back then!
