Why is Metanium nappy cream suddenly out of stock / unavailable everywhere?

Penaten cream from Germany gets good write ups on Amazon.

The everyday version burned my sons skin and caused hives and allergic reaction from head to toe. Awful stuff. Worse then Sudacream!

I know this is an older thread, but thought it was important for anyone searching.

We had similar. A localised reaction which burned all the skin on his bum. The cream sort of "adhered" to his skin and burnt him. We really had to scrub to remove it all, which was a traumatic bath time as obviously it was very sore. Leaving it on wasn't an option.

My son does have sensitive skin, but has never reacted to any sort of cream/medication before.
