Is your heating still off?

DH put shoes on today and I put slippers on so I'm thinking the time is nigh.
Todays 'chilly toes' were the first time we looked at each other and wondered.
He's out at work all day but I work from home Mon-Fri so I'm expecting to notice the cold first.
So, not today, but socks deployed.

Yes. But I do have my gas fire on of an evening. That makes the downstairs quite cosy. I'm holding out til November.

We've just come home after 6 weeks away. Heating was set to 16 whilst we were away and came on a few times for an hour or so. DH put it on constant from the ferry upping the temp to 19. Sunny today which helps.
Not getting the winter fuel allowance this year but I donated some of it last year so not having it won't stop me being warm. Obviously fortunate we can afford it as definitely feel the cold more these days. Heated throw also available when for when the temps drop.

Absolutely not!

Mines been on for about a month now. Thermostat is on 18 or 19 during the day and off at night

We’ve been using our woodburner in the living room in the evenings but the heaters are still packed away in the cupboard. It’s been such a mild October. The bedroom thermometer has been 15 degrees at the lowest which is quite comfortable. I’m wondering when it’s going to get really chilly, although I think last autumn was quite mild as well.

My boiler has packed up 😩 but I don't think I'd have had heating on anyway. Hopefully it'll stay mild until it's fixed in 2 weeks time...
