I’m not usually one to be bothered about celebrities but I find a lot of Katie Price’s behaviour bizarre at best. This story popped up on my FB feed from several sources.

It has been reported that she’s used profit from selling explicit photos to pay for a surrogate and now has twin babies. People were originally saying they’re kittens, but the photo definitely shows babies and she has been shopping for baby clothes. The last I heard she was going to be banned from having pets and was at risk of going to prison over driving offences but that seemed like the perfect time to have (buy?) a baby

She deliberately posts photos knowing it will cause gossip/speculation/newspaper stories etc.......so NO SYMPATHY from me

It's just another publicity stunt. Probably a friend's twins. She'll do anything to get people talking about her and to be mentioned in a magazine or online.

I take it that those throwing stones are all perfect in their parenting.

Exactly, we aren’t saying we’re perfect parents, none of us are.
But what KP does isn’t just shit parenting it’s straight up abuse.

KP is nothing but an attention seeking media whore. Always has been, always will be. It's one publicity stunt after another, no matter how bizarre. She is an absolutely horrific car crash of a woman, who doesn't give a shit about anyone or anything unless it's making her money for her hideous, needless surgeries. She also needs to be kept far away from children and animals.
There is enough information out there to show what she is truly like, if you can be arsed to actually look, rather than question posters on this thread! I can't believe that a couple of people here are actually feeling sorry for her! Her behaviour has just got become more appalling each and every year!
Her kids are better off without her IMHO! And my opinion won't change on that.

First of all I don't like her and her behaviour is extremely off the wall. Her children have not been treated well by her.

Everything people have said about her on here can be summed up into a few things.

She clearly is an alcoholic, with BPD and it looks like bipolar and BDD

BPD - Borderline Personality Disorder
BDD - Body Dysmorphia Disorder (addicted to surgery.

I suspect she has never been treated, and is in denial.

With her being famous those around her will have enabled her lifestyle and denial.

She needs alot of help but I doubt she will ever get it as you have to accept and want treatment.

There is definitely complex mental health needs going on there

It isn't done lightly, and usually only after
significant assistance has failed to produce required improvement that most would find to be pretty minimal.

That's the sad truth isn't it.

It's suits those who exploit her not to have her on recovery.

And it suits her not to go into recovery as this pays her.

So even if she knows she needs help there's probably a massive fear factor of who she is if she isn't who she is now (iyswim?).

The whole idea of her dropping Jordan was to be a normal mum.

No it wasn't. The reverting to Katie Price from Jordan was her ex-manager Claire Powell's idea (she remains Peter's agent/manager to this day) and was to rebrand her as a home-loving mother to appeal to a broader market with Peter. This worked for a while and made her (and him) millions. After she and Peter split up, she parted company with Can associates and her career and personal life has nose-dived ever since.

@itsgettingweird Yes I do know what you mean. I've had an extremely difficult life and have my own significant mental health problems, though over the past 20 plus years I've learnt to manage them rather they manage me.

I'm one of the lucky ones, who got to sort myself out and find the real me. I've gotten to break the generational curse. I just thank God my story has played out in the private arena rather than the public one.

Congratulations on beating the absolute weight that is MH difficulties. No one (with half a brain cell!) thinks it's easy.

It's such a shame there isn't the support network for everyone and there are those who exploit people for their own gain.

The sad truth is KP will die an early death likely surgery related and they'll move onto the next victim to plug the gap.

@itsgettingweird Thank you. I don't think you ever beat them. You learn to manage it. I've had a few trauma breakdowns since over the years.

I've come out of them with more awareness and understanding of who I am and me. Yes it's been hard work but very freeing. I've been in 8 different types of therapy over the last 20 years plus. 1 is ongoing which is a 12 step program. I also have a 12 step program mentor so I'm luckier than most in finding a way of life that has bought incredible freedom.

Yes you're right re Katie she will die in some way no doubt through her mental health conditions. So many others will the same. The media here are the worst in the world. People are treated as cash cows by them.

The woman is very ill and unfortunately with her illnesses the families of get dragged into the illness of it too. It becomes a family illness.

We have seen it so much over the years with many famous people. Then the media make out its a tragedy when they have played there own part in it

Agree with you. She looks hideous, the doctors should never have continued with all the plastic surgeries.
Even when bankrupt she goes on holiday and buys cars.

It's back on the market again (at a reduced price, I think) as the previous buyer pulled out. That once-beautiful house has been neglected for years and it will cost a huge sum to renovate it. Unfortunately, the land is contaminated also, which may make it unsaleable altogether, unless for it's for development.

@MoonWoman69 , it’s pretty grim , I believe the septic tank overflowed and there is severe ground contamination.

One of the strangest things about KP is how ‘normal’ her family seems. Her mum and siblings always came across as totally regular, grounded people yet she is just completely off the rails even now in her 40s. I wonder whether she is ND and needs more support.

Thank you! Ew, that's not nice is it? I'd say that's going to take years to rectify itself. Such a shame, it used to be a beautiful house.

I have read that it would cost many hundreds of thousands of pounds to fix the contamination alone. Perhaps, if a developer bought it, that cost would reduce if the heavy machinery required was already on site to build, say, a housing estate.
