I’m not usually one to be bothered about celebrities but I find a lot of Katie Price’s behaviour bizarre at best. This story popped up on my FB feed from several sources.

It has been reported that she’s used profit from selling explicit photos to pay for a surrogate and now has twin babies. People were originally saying they’re kittens, but the photo definitely shows babies and she has been shopping for baby clothes. The last I heard she was going to be banned from having pets and was at risk of going to prison over driving offences but that seemed like the perfect time to have (buy?) a baby

And why, in the same thread as people slagging off Princess for not being academic and Katie for making her (now-squandered) fortune for flashing her tits and breaking the law, are we now seeing posters slagging off a pleasant and intelligent woman who is working for the nhs (when, let's face it, she could probably live very comfortably off Peter for life) caring for people with Mental health issues? If some TV broadcasters employ her to come on their shows to help viewers because she is knowledgable, approachable, personable and friendly, why not? Good for her!

And yes, other people are entitled to their own options, this is what MN is about.

Because I think KP is beneath contempt but PA and his wife are barely any better. Those poor kids have been failed by their parents on both sides.

It's not just the DUIs (plural)
it's not just the animal abuse (multiple)
It's not just the inappropriate sexual behaviour in front of children
It's not just the neglect of the children, over and over, for years
it's not just the alcohol and drug abuse with the children in the home
its not just the exploitation of all her kids for coin including the one who can never consent to it because he isn't able
it's not just the risking of her life over and over for needless surgery

it's the entirety of all of it, the totally callous, self centred, neglectful, cruel, abusive parenting for all the reasons above. If it were one thing you might have a point. But it's so much.

There is no comparison. It is entirely thanks to Peter (and Emily) that Junior and Princess have been able to grow up into seemingly pleasant, well-mannered and respectful near-adults. They have been provided with a clean, calm, loving and supportive home with structure and boundaries.
If it had been left to Katie, imagine the carnage. I mean, look at how the youngest two children were being treated in her home, once she'd effectively banished Kieran who, for all his faults (and I'm not defending those), at least spent time and care on them, fed them and got them to school clean and tidy.

That’s such a low bar though, isn’t it? Clean, calm, stable. So fucking what? Peter Andre has made money from his children. At the expense of their privacy. Their mother is a train wreck and they will undoubtably have trauma from that. They deserve to have their family life kept private. Their father should have removed them from the public eye, got himself a proper job and toned down the drama on his side. But he didn’t. He made bank. You will never convince me that any parent who does that is a good parent.

That's an awful thing to say. She's got three young kids and two step kids. She's still a qualified doctor and God knows we need them. Does it matter if she hasn't progressed while her kids are so young?

Regarding Peter’s wife not progressing in her career, she’s only just turned 35 and has had 3 children. In order to be eligible to be a consultant you have to do 7-9 years of being a registrar, depending on specialty. So with that in mind, she’s seemingly where she should be career wise.

We also don’t know if she took a gap year before embarking on her medical degree.

He's also done a fair bit of presenting on TV - a few series of '60 minute makeover' and some GB news discussion thing.

Surrogacy in the uk is altruistic only and she would have to apply for a parental order at least 6 weeks after the birth. Until that point she would be private fostering and should refer this to social services. I have never come across a surrogacy case professionally but I expect there would be a referral for screening as a matter of course when an application for a parental order is made. Since Katie price likely has ongoing social care involvement with her family, and is a celebrity, if she had babies in her care social services would absolutely 100% find out and get involved.
If she used a commercial surrogate abroad she wouldn't have them in her care as newborns in the uk, it's impossible.

The documentary I saw was very thought provoking about the SEN system and how hard it is for parents and young people with SEN, I saw her in a different light came away and respected for her advocating so well for Harvey and being open about struggles they face. I think it resonated with many who have kids with SEN.
When all said and done where is Harvey's dad? Kate hasn't run away.

So many mums judging and gossiping about another woman, I take it that those throwing stones are all perfect in their parenting. Very little compassion here, who knows what’s going on in KP’s life really, she could be struggling mentally and on the edge.

It's more common than most people think. A close alcoholic relative of mine had a baby that was born profoundly disabled due to her drinking. She had the baby removed from her care a few days after the birth because despite her knowing the damage she had caused, she continued to drink all the way through the pregnancy and was even drunk when she gave birth

Reading the comments on Social Media, can't believe how many people think Katie has given birth. She is using Dolls to mess with people's heads and to gain some column inches.

Katie is also in the news because her former lover has spoken out against Katie which is a good thing because Katie has insulted her ex's so many times.

Is Harvey the reason she's never received a custodial sentence for her multiple driving offences?
