Pls help me track down this actor…

Last year we saw the most hilarious actor in panto. He was brilliant, had an amazing singing voice and made us cry with laughter.

We’d love to see him again this year, but he shares a name with a famous song writer and Googling doesn’t throw up any results.

Is there any other way of finding out whether this comic genius is in panto again this year?

Looks like OP wants to keep this amazing talented man to herself. Personally, if I had been so taken by someone's talent that I was going out of my way to see them again I'd be shouting from the rooftops telling everyone to try and get the person the good exposure they so rightly deserved.

My question is more whether there’s any sort of list or specific publication that has panto casting in it.

I’ve looked on his Spotlight page but it only has his past roles.

Try one of these:

1 - is the theatre part of a chain (eg Ambassador/ATG)? If so, then look at all the theatres in the group and find out who is in this year's panto cast.

2 - find out the name of the production company of last year's panto and search for where they are doing panto this year.

3 - search 'thename' + 'actor' or 'singer' or 'panto' + '2024'.

4 - just say the name FGS.

It is very unusual for Equity to allow anyone to use a name if it is already taken by another actor or a very well-known personality already, so it probably isn't even his real name.
