Lovehoney postage. Is it discreet?

Hi all,

I am considering making a purchase from Lovehoney. I’ve never bought anything of this nature before from anywhere, but needs must!
I am a single mum to 2DCs and my own mum looks after the youngest at my house two days a week. This means she receives any parcels that arrive on those days.
Lovehoney say that they use discreet packaging but can anyone confirm that this is the case and that it is absolutely not identifiable? Nothing on the post mark, the envelope, nothing? I would die of shame and embarrassment if my mum found out. Not to mention the postman, come to think of it.
If not, is there somewhere else that is discreet? I know that shops sell these things but I am very rarely able to go out shopping without the kids.
Thank you x

I'm looking to know this also.....

Even tho it says discrete I'm still paranoid just incase it would be obvious what it is 🙈

I've read a few reviews on items and it mentions discrete reviews, but anyone on here have any experience

millymoo1202 · 10/10/2024 17:07

Yeah it’s discreet, just a brown box, no senders info. Enjoy!

Ilovemyshed · 10/10/2024 17:07

Yes, it is plain cardboard packaging.

Aquacitra · 10/10/2024 17:08

Yes absolutely. The senders address is something very generic, doesn't give anything away. To settle your mind, I had a Love Honey parcel sent to work once!

Chalkieblue · 10/10/2024 17:10

Thank you all. I am reassured x

Yes - very. It's plain and the sender is fine as LH

ByQuaintAzureWasp · 10/10/2024 17:16

Yes, of course

mitogoshigg · 10/10/2024 17:19

Can't you have it sent to a box or pick up point?

itsjustbiology · 10/10/2024 17:20

Yes..order away with confidence!

harvestdesigns · 10/10/2024 17:25

just a brown box - and mine was delivered by an amazon courier!

twilightcafe · 10/10/2024 17:27

Order on Amazon and get the parcel sent to a locker.

reallifeboogie · 10/10/2024 17:37

Yes it's discrete however my postman did say "enjoy" when he handed me a love honey parcel haha.

shellyleppard · 10/10/2024 17:38

I've used them in the past and they are very very discreet. Same situation as a single mum

How did he know?? This is my fear. My mum and I absolutely do not have the kind of relationship where I want her to know about that kind of very private thing.

As others have said it's very discrete just a plain brown box. However I'm sure it used to say something like LH Trading in very small print, so if you looked closely and knew what that meant then you would know. But this is going back a while so might have changed!

The sender's details are written as LH ltd or something like that on the label (in small print).

If your mum doesn't know who they are, there's nothing to identify what LH ltd are. But a postie who delivers things regularly, would probably know where the parcel is from. However, most posties are probably too busy to notice.

CadoAvo · 10/10/2024 17:43

I'm sure the sender is noted as LH trading limited on the postage sticker, so most posties know where it's come from. Your mum would have to notice it and then Google it.

I could be wrong but pretty sure.

Presumably, RM/the courier has a record of the sender for each business parcel and/or some form of tracking system?

It's not like you can anonymously pop big boxes into pillar boxes, like you can with letters!

GroovyChick87 · 10/10/2024 17:45

Very discreet. It comes up on your bank statement as LH Trading. Or you could order their products from Amazon and they would still be in the plain brown box. I recommend a Doxy wand, it's the best I've ever had.

civetcat · 10/10/2024 17:46

Yes - arrives in a plain brown box. It used to have the sender marked as 'LH Trading' but I heard all the posties knew what that was so they changed it. It will show up on bank statements though

OnaBegonia · 10/10/2024 17:47

Send your parcel to a locker or parcel shop.

Myneighboursnorlax · 10/10/2024 17:48

The packaging is very discreet, your mum would never know unless she has ordered from them herself 😂 The postie will know though - LH Trading only ever means one thing!

PinkFrogss · 10/10/2024 17:48

The box says LH on but in small print, would your mum look that closely and recognise the name? The postie probably will but who cares.

Otherwise for something more subtle beauty bay and asos both sell vibrators, which will just look like you’ve bought clothes or makeup.

blitzen · 10/10/2024 17:48

I think cult beauty sell what you're after. Your mum would just think it's makeup?

Posties do recognise the return address - I know thos because my DH is a postie so I have to be very careful lest my husband become the butt of all the jokes in his delivery office...
