Lovehoney postage. Is it discreet?

Hi all,

I am considering making a purchase from Lovehoney. I’ve never bought anything of this nature before from anywhere, but needs must!
I am a single mum to 2DCs and my own mum looks after the youngest at my house two days a week. This means she receives any parcels that arrive on those days.
Lovehoney say that they use discreet packaging but can anyone confirm that this is the case and that it is absolutely not identifiable? Nothing on the post mark, the envelope, nothing? I would die of shame and embarrassment if my mum found out. Not to mention the postman, come to think of it.
If not, is there somewhere else that is discreet? I know that shops sell these things but I am very rarely able to go out shopping without the kids.
Thank you x

The box says LH on but in small print, would your mum look that closely and recognise the name? The postie probably will but who cares.

Otherwise for something more subtle beauty bay and asos both sell vibrators, which will just look like you’ve bought clothes or makeup.

This is a brilliant idea, thank you. I’ve just looked on the Beauty Bay website and will buy from there. Thank you!

@Chalkieblue

If you buy through "eBay" you can use "Click and Collect" which goes to [say] Argos or a petrol station for collection within 7 days.

Yes absolutely. The senders address is something very generic, doesn't give anything away. To settle your mind, I had a Love Honey parcel sent to work once!

That's brave! I would be worried in case the packaging got damaged exposing the contents!

I once took delivery of an Amazon package for an absent colleague which was torn revealing several self help books on how to make friends and find love! Several people in the post room had seen it before me. I really felt for the guy and mended the box with parcel tape before any one else saw it.
But reading this thread, it could have been worse! 😀

Boots also do these things - you could get them sent to a pick up point via Amazon too

bryceQ · 10/10/2024 17:57

It's just a brown box.

You can get stuff from amazon or loads of mainstream retailers if you're really worried.

The packaging is very discreet, your mum would never know unless she has ordered from them herself 😂 The postie will know though - LH Trading only ever means one thing!

Now that would be funny 🤣

LoveIsleOfWight · 10/10/2024 17:59

Absolutely nothing on the box to indicate its from love honey

I placed an order that arrived yesterday and still have the box
It's plain brown cardboard and a royal mail sticker on it

BashfulClam · 10/10/2024 18:09

Yeah the posies recognise the return addresses. I’m sure they don’t remember as they deliver so much every day.

needsomewarmsunshine · 10/10/2024 18:14

I ordered mine from Amazon, could be a million and one things.

Stealthmodemama · 10/10/2024 18:19

You can order from amazon and get it delivered to a 'collection box' (you know one were you enter a code and don't have to talk to a person)

Mirren22 · 10/10/2024 19:05

Yes delivery last money had wondered the same but completely discreet

ThatsNotMyTeen · 10/10/2024 19:09

What everyone else said, LH have examples on their website too.

Or you can arrange to collect from elsewhere

twilightcafe · 11/10/2024 09:42

If you order on Amazon, don't forget to disable the notification announcements on your Alexa. Unless you want Alexa to announce the arrival of your purchase! 🤭
