Rarely, I knew all the blues, so the puzzle was good for me in that everything was contained within the puzzle - so no googling needed.

(Edited to add - maybe that's what it feels like to be an American completing the puzzle - when you get all the references immediately!)

Annoyed with myself as saw purple connection immediately and impulsively had a second try without looking at the rest of the puzzle properly 🤦🏻‍♀️

Don't give up @JaneJeffer At least not after today as it was a 5/5 difficulty level and only has a 49% solve rate as I type!

I don't think that purple was solvable without getting blue first or just sheer luck. There's no logic to it that would lead you to 4 of the 6 possibilities unless you'd gotten rid of two already. I saw it immediately but just couldn't narrow it down.

That's not clever Puzzle writing, it's just tricksy and smart-arsey.

Thanks @ThePoshUns and @PangoPurrl I just feel really stupid when I post my big mess and everybody is saying it was really obvious and/or easy 😭🤣. At least I seem to have got Strands back on track after a couple of bad days!

Does anyone play Tiles on there? I find it so relaxing. Wish they would let you play more than twice a day.
