What is your coffee shop order?

Just wondering what you order when you go to the coffee shop? The easiest one for me is Starbucks where I'm located and there is a drive through ... I know local is probably better etc but unfortunately it just doesn't work for me

Currently I'm a white mocha with caramel syrup no whip cream and two extra shots of blonde coffee on the rare occasion I might have a cake with it I currently love the white chocolate caramel blondie.

My husband is just a americano with room for hot milk man.

No reason to this post other than I'm nosy and maybe it'll give me some ideas!

Flat white if its first thing in the morning.
Decaf Americano with cold milk if its mid morning
Americano over ice with milk on a hot day

Double shot Cappuccino no chocolate on top or a latte, depending on how milky I fancy it.

Oat flat white but I only buy coffee at work where it’s subsidised because I object to paying £3+ for a coffee!

Sugar free caramel latte... hot in winter, iced in summer

Usually hot choc, and choc muffin or cuppa tea and muffin

I don't drink coffee, so tall hot chocolate with soy milk, no cream. I am known all over the town! Even at the airport a few weeks ago, a barista from my nearest Starbucks is now working in Starbucks in Departures airside, I didn't even have to say what I wanted because he told me 🤣

Cold brew with Creme Brulee foam.

I just ask for a black coffee now (no sugar). Used to be able to say Americano but got sick of being asked if I wanted milk.

Chai latte or a black americano with an extra shot. Lemon tart if we're adding cake.

For those not liking Starbucks coffee..I'm with you. But if you ever have to go ask for the blonde roast.

I used to own a small coffee shop. You wouldn't believe the amount of different milks etc I had to stock and how much wastage there was. Guessing Costa and Starbucks didn't have that issue.

Flat white

Very boring latte. I had some lovely earl grey tea today though, made with loose leaf tea served in a pot with a little egg timer so you know when to take the leaves out. A cheese scone as big as my palm with homemade jam. It made me feel very happy and that perhaps the world isn’t entirely doomed.

Not to derail the thread but does anyone else feel like coffee sort of embodies utilitarian necessity, I need the caffiene tbh, and tea (when done well) is good for the soul?

Chain coffee shops - I'll have a hazelnut latte, amazing local Italian deli - I'll have an espresso macchiato

My go to chain coffee is a chai latte with a double espresso shot and nutmeg sprinkles

But if I'm in an independent cafe/restaurant type place that has a bar I have a latte with either a Baileys, Disaronno or Advocaat measure
