What is your coffee shop order?

Just wondering what you order when you go to the coffee shop? The easiest one for me is Starbucks where I'm located and there is a drive through ... I know local is probably better etc but unfortunately it just doesn't work for me

Currently I'm a white mocha with caramel syrup no whip cream and two extra shots of blonde coffee on the rare occasion I might have a cake with it I currently love the white chocolate caramel blondie.

My husband is just a americano with room for hot milk man.

No reason to this post other than I'm nosy and maybe it'll give me some ideas!

Umm, black americano, as per my name. Grin Not from Starbucks though, I'm not keen on their coffee.

DrinkElephants · 19/08/2024 16:15

Normally oat milk latte from one of the many independent coffee shops in town

MrsStottlemeyer · 19/08/2024 16:27

I try and avoid Starbucks as it's a rip off but when I do go a flat white and a cheese and marmite ciabatta although they aren't as nice now they've changed to those toasting ovens and the bread is different. I like the peach iced tea but not enough to pay a fiver for it.

Costa is a cappuccino and ditto with the iced tea.

I have two really good independent cafes locally, one does a great mocha or I have a flat white and the other I have a cappuccino or a cortado.

Latte or an iced latte in summer

TabbyM · 20/08/2024 12:07

Tea. With a scone (rhymes with "gone") or mint slice if an interesting cafe.

Chai latte if had too much tea.

Tisfortired · 20/08/2024 12:08

Iced caramel latte and a plain croissant at the moment. Usually just a flat white and a croissant.

Dearg · 20/08/2024 12:12

Grande skinny extra dry cappuccino, naked, plus pup cup

autumnbake · 20/08/2024 12:14

My DH gets a java chip frappucino from starbucks which is delicious.

I'm very basic, september onwards i'll get a pumpkin spice latte, or just a flat white.

IAmJohnMajor · 20/08/2024 12:16

M&S do a lovely tiramisu iced coffee. 😋😋😋

SquigglePigs · 20/08/2024 12:17

Tea!

Very occasionally if it's hot I'll get whatever their cold, fruity drink is.

SerenaWaldorf · 20/08/2024 12:22

Oat milk hazelnut latte. Either iced or hot depending on the weather. Unless I'm at Starbucks and then I absolutely love their brown sugar oat shaken espresso.

TerfTalking · 20/08/2024 12:22

Flat white, regular milk, no sugar.

I cannot abide fancy coffees with horrible flavoured syrups in them.

I do admit to liking those bottled Starbucks Frappuccino drinks you find in the fridges in the supermarket though, if a little sweet.

MaitlandGirl · 20/08/2024 12:26

Double espresso with enough cold water to just cover the bottom of the cup (with a caramel shot if I’m feeling fancy).

Cake is alway a GF raspberry and white chocolate muffin.

So much sugar!!! Yes I’m judging.

Decaf americano with pouring cream from Starbucks or any independent.

Cream! Definitely judging 😂

itsgettingweird · 20/08/2024 12:35

Decaf - sugar free caramel - soya latte.

I sometimes wonder why I bother 😂

letmeeatinpeace · 20/08/2024 12:36

Espresso, which I take to work, pour into cup + add hot water to.
Cheaper than a black americano, and I can choose the strength (hate it weak).

SheilaFentiman · 20/08/2024 12:38

Skinny latte from anywhere but Starbucks

Caramel skinny latte from service station Starbucks, because I need both the caffeine and something to mask the bitterness of their coffee.

Enko · 20/08/2024 12:39

Depends on what shop I am in and time of day

But I change between
Hot chocolate in am
Cappuccino and Cotado (if in a chain where the Cappuccino will actually be a latte)

NeverDropYourMooncup · 20/08/2024 12:48

Americano or iced coconut/soya frap with caramel, hazelnut or pumpkin spice.

No cake as nowhere does reliably GF stuff unless you want to spend the best part of a tenner on something the size of a matchbox. If you could get GF bread pudding, custard doughnut or a tarte aux fruits, I'd make an exception.

PantsAcademy · 20/08/2024 13:01

On the rare occasion I go to a coffee shop it's always a mocha. Iced in the summer, hot in winter. I had one with oat milk a couple of weeks ago which was really unexpectedly nice.
I make them at home more often, though that's still quite rare, definitely not one every day.
Don't really like cake.

CrushingOnRubies · 20/08/2024 13:12

Costa - medium 2 shot cappuccino
Although last time I went I had an iced latte with a caramel shot and it was rather nice.

Starbucks - grande cappuccino extra shot

Nero- large cappuccino

Conkerqueen · 20/08/2024 13:20

Try the cold foam

Decaf americano with pouring cream from Starbucks or any independent.

I deserve judging 😆

Try the cold foam

I was tempted last time. I just don't know what to do with it?
What's your cold foam drink of choice?

Conkerqueen · 20/08/2024 17:39

@Anotherusername2024

So I would get a blonde iced latte. Vanilla syrup, white mocha sauce and cream cold form. MUST be served with a flat lid, otherwise you don’t get any foam when you drink.

just in case you weren’t aware, if you are a Starbucks member you get syrups etc for free. So when ordering if you break down your order it will be cheaper. So instead of ordering an iced white mocha. Order an iced latte and ask them to add white mocha. It saves 70p 😂
