I'm shattered! Coughing, especially at night, for about a month now. Send me your magic remedies! I've SO had enough! I need sleep!

There's a bug going round that people are calling the 100 day cough.

I had that. It started at the beginning of February, with a fever and general feeling of the 'flu. I had antibiotics (which made no difference), an inhaler (mild improvement with that) and x-rays. I finally stopped coughing about 3 weeks ago.

That’s whooping cough. It’s completely different.

@Iwasafool How are you doing today? It's hard to psych yourself up for doing battle with the GP sometimes.

@Onedayatatime22 How are you doing? Thank you for checking in :)) I go back to work tomorrow. Will wfh for a couple of days and test the office next week.

I am still not sleeping. It's not coughing per se. It feels like I am on high alert and can't get to sleep. I have not had a nap today so I hope that will help come bedtime. I'm still tired too. So tired! Want to feel alert and awake....

Always worth a trip to the GP, could be a number of things

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. It was damp and rainy on Friday so I coughed more. I feel like it's going, but by bit. I'm relieved. But figure I need to be patient with shaking this last bit.

Am glad I have the Benilyn night to hand... Will remember that!

Getting there slowly! Sleeping lying down now, but still get the odd tickle. Thanks for checking in.

@birdindisguise Saw your thread about coughing and thought this may be useful. There was a liquid I used. Grim. But worked.
