Found the first three quite easy. I got the fourth connection when they were the only words left, but one of them I disagree with (we don't pronounce it like that, do we?)

I did get purple but don’t understand current in that context. Maybe tomorrow someone can enlighten me!

Completely agree @ClonedSquare. Purple is ridiculous and I don’t think anyone pronounces that word like that.

@CurlewKate - I’ve used hints a few times. Or looked up words. Sometimes I wouldn’t get it at all otherwise. I do always say when I post if I used hints though.

No hints required today but purple was by default.

@CurlewKate I sometimes use hints. Yesterday I did as had no idea at all. I like the one where they give you the topic and then that's usually enough.

If I post on here I would always declare I had had a hint 🤣

Well, some of you say that one of purple isn't right, but I'm northern and say that two of them aren't right!

It struck me- is the rogue purple an American thing? I don't think it is, but....

@CurlewKate there seems to be a pronunciation difference between two of the languages/accents in the country of origin. Both are in use in the states but rarely here. It would seem our pronunciation is the more common of the two.

Agreed two of those purple ones were wrong in my Scottish accent

Just checked with a friend from Pennsylvania. She says it like that. Who knew!!!!!
