Always like these threads for inspiration. We may be having McDonald’s but if not some ideas would be good.

Going out tonight so quick and easy

Pasta with a hummus, garlic and mushroom sauce.

Meatballs with pasta and a tomato and basil sauce

Sausages and mash

Pot roast chicken with sweet potatoes, potatoes, carrots, parsnips and shallots

Will probably roast the veggies separately next time and just pot roast the chicken on its own. They're delicious but quite soft

Beans on Toast. DH is being very annoying and I'm buggered if I'm going to cook for him tonight.

what an odd post - so if you eat McDonalds you’d not like chickpea’s? Judgey much!

im debating between either making a stir fried sticky chicken thing (v yummy but a bit faffy to make) or baked sweet potatoes stuffed with peppers and black beans and a homemade guac

Slow cooker gammon joint, mashed potatoes, peas and corn with a cheese sauce

It’s a shepherds pie/ beef hot pot hybrid. So shepherds pie with sliced tinned potatoes on top as I’m in pain and couldn’t be bothered to make mash. It’s really nice

Going to give steak a go in the air fryer.

I'm having weetabix new medication has zapped my appetite (plus a nasty cold) and after feeding four kids and putting two of them in bed, I've not got the inclination to make anything proper for myself.

Thai red curry with chicken, mango and boiled rice. Prik nam pla on the side.

The mangoes needed using up and we like spicy food 😋

Smoked haddock and crab dauphinoise, sounds fancy but v easy and a large glass of red :-)

Tacos but in soft tortillas - with guacamole, salsa, sour cream, grated cheese, onion and lettuce.

Halloumi and salad flatbread wrap,
With lattice fries and extra salad on the side.

Grilled cheddar cheese on toast, banana custard, pot of tea.

Wine later...

Gnocchi with vegan bolognaise

Left over bolognaise sauce with penne, baked for a bit with cheese on top.

Didn’t know you can’t eat an Ottolenghi recipe if you eat McDonald’s. 😂😂 Must throw my books out…

Linguine with tiger prawns and asparagus for us in a lemony sauce with a bit of chilli.

Homemade butternut squash soup with cheese toasties.

I’m a bit disappointed as I’ve had a scroll through and nobody seems to be on Day 7 of their leftover roast chicken from last Friday…
