Weekend Wine

How long would it take you to finish a bottle of wine?

DH is out and kids doing their own thing.
I opened a bottle of wine at 7pm - how long would it take you to polish it off...?

On my own, two nights. I could polish it off in one but I'd have regrets. I'm a full on wine collector/obsessive but all too aware of the need to take a moderate approach 99% of the time.

I can easily drink a bottle in an evening but I try not to as it makes me feel like shit the next day.

I drink a glass almost every night though, and a bottle last me 3 nights, less on weekends.

I now only open wine on weekends where I'm going to fancy a drink on at least 2 nights (i.e. nothing planned for the next day that requires a clear head). I don't drink much these days!
