Favourite Haribo sweet

Forgive me MN, for I have sinned…
Pinched a small bag of starmix from the kids leftover birthday hand outs.
So there are fried eggs, jelly rings, hearts, gummy bears and cola bottles.
My favourite from those are the cola bottles. I don’t like the fried eggs.
(Given the choice I’d have Tangtastics but the little blighters all went for those of course!)

Who wants to share my loot? <and eat the fried eggs for me?!>

Dc1 used to like biting the heads off Haribo smurfs. Haven't seen them for a while tho.

i have been known to buy a box of the giant cola bottles online though 😅

The smurfs ones were LOVELY

The fizzy skeletons they did at Halloween, the fizz went right through the sweets.
Did you know that the eggs are actually flying saucers?

I got some White Mice recently in Belgium, they were big and all white foamy stuff, no jelly. They were really nice.

I like the rhubarb and custard pipe things as well, they're not jelly, more a chalky texture.

Soda Twist are 100% the best Haribo I've found in the UK. Only one shop around here sells them though, and stock is intermittent 😭

Other than that it's Sour Patch Kids all the way!

Unfortunately not, I'm in France. Will fill up a case to come home with though!

All but the Supermix are new to me, but I bought that as a ‘control’ sample you understand.
Maybe they’ve been available all along in my local shops but I’ve been blinkered by the cult that is Starmix 😂

@Vetoncall I’ve just bought a bag of those! From a very orange logo’d supermarket… lots of them so stock up!
I’m being very restrained and will plough through my meetings first before I die a slow sugary death.

(By the way, by buying the control sample of Supermix, you seasoned MNs will know what I really mean is, that’s for the kids so they’re none the wiser to my secret stash of new varieties 😉)

Do you know they have a huge Haribo factory shop in Bonn Germany. You can buy it all pick a mix style in massive buckets. It’s where Haribo originated

Haribo name = Han Rigel from Bonn . He took the first two letters form his name and birthplace Ha Ri Bo

This! In BnM they do bags just of jelly men. I am incapable of not eating the whole bag so only buy them once in a blue moon!

Argh why did I click on this thread!? I'm not eating sugary treats for Lent and now all I can think about is Haribo. My favourite was Micro Mix which I only ever found in one shop and I think they're discontinued.

Fini are quite good too - the rainbow 🌈 liquorice ones with the squidgy stuff in the middle.
