Favourite Haribo sweet

Forgive me MN, for I have sinned…
Pinched a small bag of starmix from the kids leftover birthday hand outs.
So there are fried eggs, jelly rings, hearts, gummy bears and cola bottles.
My favourite from those are the cola bottles. I don’t like the fried eggs.
(Given the choice I’d have Tangtastics but the little blighters all went for those of course!)

Who wants to share my loot? <and eat the fried eggs for me?!>

I am with you. Only in memory, though, because I'm vegetarian, and the majority of Haribo use gelatine.

These days, I get my cola bottle-type kicks from M and S Colin the Caterpillar cola gums.

out of all Haribo, the cherries in tangfastics are THE best!!

Jelly men from the Supermix bag, I used to be able to get little bags of just the jelly men for 50p from the Co-op down the road. Happy times.

B&M sell the haribo jelly babies in both big and small bags!

As for the best haribos, has to be the jelly belly snakes (in the small packet), closely followed by jelly babies/easter bunnies!

I like crocodiles but havent seen them in the uk for ages. You used to be able to buy them in bags of just crocs in France.

Then fried eggs, then hearts.

I like the foam backed ones.

Love the Supermix but original Haribo are a bit meh for me.

The crocodiles or whatever they are in Tangfastics - love! The things that are half coloured fizzy and half white fizzy mallowy stuff. The dark purple ones! 😋

So glad to see the love for the white jelly babies. They are by far the yummiest Haribo sweet. Closely followed by cola bottles and sour cherries.

Just did a dash to the shop after all this haribo talk and i got these.... never tried them before, they're amazing ! Every flavour is 😍

Nobody seems to have mentioned the rhubarb and custards, now they are delicious. Taste just like the hard sweet, but in a sugary, gummy form. Mmmm. Not easy to find though.

They’ve just brought out sour caterpillars in Europe. I ate 2 bags by myself over the weekend…oops

Someone mentioned tropifrutti upthread. I’ve definitely seen them for sale here recently.

Has anyone tried Lidl’s own version of Gold bears? So much nicer. I can eat a whole bag on my own over a few day’s.

The best haribo are (red) raspberry gold bears from Germany so much nice than the uk version of gold bears (luckily I have a german friend who will send a 1kg bag across sometimes 😂)

Do like their jelly men especially the white ones

Hubby and Dad like the sailor mix which is licqorice

Aah shoot, I’m going to have to buy every different variety I can find and do a unbiased taste test, all in the name of research you understand 😂
There are loads I’ve never even heard of so am loving the pics!
