I have just viewed my Spotify Wrapped review of the last 12 months. I need help 🤣! I’m old before my time! I am 32 and my most listened to are Neil Diamond, Brian Adams, Meatloaf, Queen and Abba. Think my parents had quite a lot of influence on my music taste. Please help me with your recommendations for artists who didn’t start their careers before I was born!

Mine is showing that I listened to a lot of 90s boy and girl bands.

How old am I?

Can anyone help me find the 'What is your city' Wrapped in 2023 option ? Google no help, keeps referring to "flipping your card" and "my 2023" which I don't see. Frustrating ! Can't even find a video on youtube yet for this, boohoo.

My top bands are all rock and metal. Apparently I should be living in York. Bizarrely, DD goes to uni there!

Ta. I did get that far by myself. From there, how do you get to "Your top artistis" or "Your city" ?

If I tap on "Your 2023 Wrapped" I get music, no further options at top but a huge amount to scroll thru below, I could inventory them too but none look personalised.

Among the 8 top squares under "Your 2023 Wrapped":

DJ Wrapped tap -> some bloke nattering babble.

"2023 wrapped" => everyone in world's favourites.

"Live Events" is ... events I don't want to go to.

"Your Top Songs" this was interesting: 3 dots from there doesn't include top artists or my city. About recommendations is a disclaimer.

"Artist Messages" I don't have any

"Merch for you" I don't want

"Create and Blend" -> I think maybe it makes playlists, I don't make
those anyway.

That's all I see under "Spotify Wrapped"

I do appreciate any handholding, I must be missing something obvious to everyone else.

If i click on the first of those tiles, which says "2023 your wrapped" I get a, slide show of all my top things.

Click the big pink (or orange?)square to open the slide show, on the second wrapped page, not the first one I’d that makes sense!

Got it, omg, i didn't realise it was a video not a playlist, so you have to let it play medley for a while &then it slowly comes up with facts on the written blurb with the medley music. Not Obvious. This is supposed to make the facts entertaining, I guess? Mega thanks.

I find Spotify quite repeititive, they keep feeding me songs I like but get bored of, Deezer Flow was better at suggesting new & related music. Just reading up how people deal with this Spotify flaw....

Basically lots of Eurovision and French indie-electronic. City I got was Belgrade, likely due to rinsing the Serbian Eurovision entry.

You should download Shazam. Open the app, point it at whatever device a song is playing - and hey presto... the song is displayed on your phone.

My top 5 were Taylor Swift, Fletcher, Maisie Peters, Carrie Underwood and Kelsea Ballerini.

My place was Bozeman, USA.

I have been updating my playlist this morning. I have ‘rediscovered’ more modern music and I have been listening to it this afternoon in the car. Thank you for all the suggestions - especially the Radio idea.
