I have just viewed my Spotify Wrapped review of the last 12 months. I need help 🤣! I’m old before my time! I am 32 and my most listened to are Neil Diamond, Brian Adams, Meatloaf, Queen and Abba. Think my parents had quite a lot of influence on my music taste. Please help me with your recommendations for artists who didn’t start their careers before I was born!

Louis Tomlinson was my top artist. I went with a friend to see him last year not thinking much and have become a fan girl in my 30s Saw him in Birmingham a few weeks ago and even worse now.

I had to search which my most heard song and I had no clue 😂😂

Mine showed me that I am very happily stuck in the 90s. I have no plans to change that.

My most listened to band was They Might Be Giants 😁😂

79 genres here. I didn't know there were that many either. And it makes me chuckle as I'm often accused of listening to all the same shit. (by the teenagers who don't appreciate the finer things in life.)

Other listeners were in Missoula, USA.

My 'other listeners' were about 8 km away from where I actually live 😄Maybe I should move.

We had Chrvches, BabyMetal, then 3 of the Eurovision entries from 2023. Dd loves the songs so we’ve had them on repeat for months 😂

Seems I should be moving to Brighton!

Where's everyone else's city? I got Dundee 😁 DH got Aberdeen - we love Scottish rock so it does make sense! We're actually from Essex!

My daughter got some obscure US place, she reckons it's because she's obsessed with Hamilton.

My top listened to artists are mostly Irish other than George Michael. - Aslan, Van Morrison, Sinead 0’Connor and U2. I don’t listen to Spotify much really but did quite a bit in the summer when Christy Dignam from Aslan and then Sinead O’Connor died. I then made DH listen to and Irish Rock list for a while which I think distorted my list for the year.

I haven't used Spotify for ages, but is there an option to "start radio" from a particular song or "play related songs"? That's what I do with YT music when I need inspiration.

I inevitably revert my 00's "when I was a teen" music though. Interspersed with other random stuff.

Can't see anyone mentioning this but have you checked out the Discover Weekly or Release Radar playlists? It might give you the chance to listen to a few more artists.

Fwiw your top 5 sound great! What about something like Biffy Clyro? Maybe Florence and the Machines?
