Does anyone get pretend celebrity follow requests on instagram? I've had fake Martin Kemp, fake Chesney Hawkes and fake Owen Wilson all message me today.

Yes seven different Alexander dreymon (the last kingdom) friend requests. Strange because I’ve never interacted with the programme online. Then they pretend to be him, often in very broken English for likes 😀

I watch Scamfish on Youtube and a lot of people fall for a fake Johnny Depp etc and send them money.

I think most would be shocked at the high number of people who fall for these scams. They’re fishing for gullible people who comment or click on them.

There’s a lot currently handing over their money to cryptocurrency scammers because ‘they saw an advert on Facebook/Instagram with Martin Lewis endorsing it’. Despite him publicly stating over and over again that he doesn’t.

Looks like spam to me. But does exist unlike the first replies suggestions…
