There’s various posts about Emma Willis being arrested! Ruining her career! Has anyone else seen it? She’s Confessed about something! I’ve looked in the papers and googled it! Has something happened with her or has she been hacked? Probably! But I like her so I’m hoping that it’s all made up. Anyone else seen it?

Ha ha it’s usually Gordon Ramsey or Chris Packham on my ones, they are quite obviously fake, they just want you to click on them.

Scam fake click bait, I had loads for a few days.

I keep getting them for Emma Willis & Gordon Ramsey on insta. It’s driving me crazy! I keep reporting them as spam/scam but the same accounts keep posting it. It’s clearly real people being arrested with the celebrities’ head superimposed on them.

Thanks everybody else, it was a knee jerk reaction to post this on here! In hindsight it obviously was a scam but to be fair it is my first experience of one!

Seriously, do people not realise these links are made up clickbait?

How does the scam work? Or is it just ad revenue they're after i.e. click bait?

You would have thought the social media owners could find a way not to give ad revenue to this sort of rubbish. When it lies about people it must be stressful.

The media owners should be made to at least give up any ad money for those.

That Gordon Ramsey one is absolutely hilarious! How anyone fell for that one is beyond me but I am now rather hoping they start popping up on my instagram too.

I know they're probably protected from a lot of sm nonsense but it must be weird to see yourself featured in one of these click bait things. Martin Lewis took action a while back (against FB if I recall) as it was using his name/face to promote financial scams and vulnerable people could be taken in because of trusting him but I guess it's harder to stop the "so-and-so's real life partner will shock you" nonsense articles.
