Has a spider ever climbed out from under your covers?

I’m 32 and it has just happened to me for the first time (that I know of) 😭 Just got into bed, husband is out for the night (so typical) and as I went to put my phone away I thought I saw something crawl across my shoulder out the corner of my eye. Convinced myself I was seeing things but shone the light back on to check and there it was 😩 Never moved so fast in my life! Our newborn is sleeping in the next to me but I had no choice but to put the light on, put my shoes on and get the hoover! I didn’t find it and now lying here feeling so creeped out. Tomorrow this room is getting turned upside down and every inch is getting hoovered 😭😭

I was reasonably put out recently* when I retired to bed and settled down to read. Opened my book and an enormous (although thankfully squashed flat) spider fell out onto me.

*When I say 'reasonably put out' you might want to substitute 'screaming the house down and leaping about, howling, and ripping my pyjamas off because 'IT'S ON ME!!!!!'

Oh dear god 😩

There was a nest of spiders on the ceiling above the bed, but neither me or DH could be arsed to move it.
One night I was briefly woke when the entire nest of spiderlings fell onto my face and scattered.
I'm not bothered by spiders, but there was so much web which was annoying.
Another time, I stood in front of the fridge and a spider ran out from under it and high-fived me on my big toe before running back under the fridge. I haven't seen that spider before or since, but it was a weirdly amusing moment.

I woke up to one on my duvet in a big old spooky flat I once lived in. I then had 2 weeks where I’d dream the bed was full of spiders so I’d wake up and leap out of the imaginary spider pit at 3am. Then I moved.

In bed I had an itch on my back so just lay flat on my back and wiggled to 'scratch' the itch. In the morning there was a very flat and dead mahoosive house spider in my bed. 🤢

Well I have a spidery house but have only seen it once in 20 years -it was DGS’s bed though and a big black spider - fortunately DGS want present…..

'Briefly woke' & 'high fived my big toe' had me laughing 😆
