If you’ve been using your vouchers against anything in your basket….has this stopped this week?

@maudelovesharold maybe I'm explaining poorly,I don't mean I'm getting copy of the times/guardian/dailymail I mean the own brand paper. I only use the app and shop in store. I don't spend s huge amount with them and less since they changed how they "process" veg , which more often than not looks like it's only fit for compost or the potatoes are trailer burned or green.

Yes, I knew what you meant when you explained in your post quoting me. It was very clear! I was just saying, by contrast, that I used to have a voucher every day for an actual newspaper, for years, until they stopped it peremptorily. Now that was worth having, especially at the weekend!

We have gone on line for newspapers and never get any these days, so DH hoards their weekly free one to use in the garage.

Had to update. Among my vouchers this week was one for a free(!!!) box of festive Cinnamon Knots. Never aware of them before, so may be a new line they’re promoting, but they’re delish, and the fact that they’re free really enhances the experience! I’m being reeled back in…

I have the same offer. I’ll make sure to collect🙂. Lately I’ve had free chocolate bars & bakery buns too 🙂

PP mentioned no vouchers in the post. I got mine last week; 4 x £15 off if I spend £150 with various dates to be used by. First one got added to this weeks shopping delivery.

Was excited to see the Cinnamon Knots offer yesterday, but found the shelf empty. Same happened with iced buns, but I think they must have kept reissuing them as got a new voucher the same every week for about 3 weeks until I found one on the shelf and used it.

Oh yes, I've got the Cinnamon Knots voucher too. Disappointing to hear the shelves were empty. Sainsburys is dreadful for that. Have given up on expecting to find specific discounted items in store.

I did get two iced buns. Was away for third voucher.

I missed the cinnamon knots too and i was looking forward to them.

Re:Cinnamon Knots. It’s worth asking, because although the ‘Xmas goodies’ shelves were devoid of them, I was directed to an end of aisle display at the far end of the store, where there were loads!

Third week of no vouchers. Is everyone else getting them?

I'm no getting the ones they select for you but not really interested in truffle infused olives right now. They always offer vouchers for things I don't want.

We live in Waitroseland near head office so many many branches around here. You can still get the free drink in most if not all stores, but the machine is tucked away on the edge of the CS counter and you have to bring your own reusable cup.
I used to use the free newspaper loads, the current vouchers I look up what's on offer on those THEN look in store as more often than not they don't have half the offered items. I remember this time last year their own Steak & red wine family pie was on offer for weeks when I think the pie itself got discontinued.
I usually do Sainsburys or Aldi now. Sainsbury send vouchers in the post.
