Persuade me to go out tonight

I have been invited to a party tonight. I was looking forward to going all week but now it's here I can't be bothered and am on the verge of not going.

It's a 15 min walk away. I can always just leave. It could be fun. I don't know many people going. I can't be arsed to get showered, changed. I don't know what to wear. It's hot. There's wine in the fridge and netflix on the TV. I watch netflix and drink wine most Saturday nights. It's a lovely evening. It's too hot to go out. I might meet some interesting people. I don't want to socialise tonight.

Gaaaah! I always do this! Should I go out or not?

I did go, but didn't stay very long as the friend I was with wanted to leave after a couple of hours. And the only other people I knew didn't turn up 😆

But it was fun while it lasted and I'm glad I went. Danced lots, which I haven't done for YEARS. I also have a handstamp and a wristband which makes me feel young again!

Knackered now though as ds had some friends back and they all rolled in at 2ish, clomping up and down the stairs and talking in 'subtle' stage whispers, bless 'em...I'm spending the morning in bed with coffee and MN.
