The Moon tonight

It's a full moon tonight and it's a supermoon - it looks huge!

You should get a good look now, fairly low in the sky to the east if it's not too cloudy where you are.

Can't see it at all. Also it's not Blue! It's an extra moon because of moon cycles in a year. No doubt when I need a wee at 3am I'll be able to see it.

I remember one evening sitting in the garden looking at a beautiful full moon with Venus rising and we saw a bat soar over the washing line and I said, all we need now is an ISS sighting ... and there it was overhead!

Not bad for the concrete jungle.

We saw it from multiple positions as we were driving home from holiday this evening. It's a beautiful moon.

I will be 78 the next time a Blue moon comes . It might be cloudy then so tonight I spent some time looking at it as I probably won't see it again in my life time .

When I look at the moon, I think about the footprints left behind up there.

I can't find words to describe the way a full moon makes me feel, I think its probably my favourite thing in the natural world, I don't think I've seen one as spectacular as tonight's.

Thanks for this, I’d have missed it otherwise. Wow, it’s SO bright, even though we’ve got a few clouds.
