What is this hellhole virus

I'm assuming it's a virus ! Covid test neg

Week 1 headache and nausea
Week 2 fatigue, sore throat and dry wretching
Week 3 still tired, going hot and cold.
Wtf!

We had this and tested positive for Covid for the first time a couple of weeks ago, completely wiped up us out, terrible headaches and fatigue.

Btw these are all symptoms of the new variant.
There is no fever with the latest one.

Oh And You tend to get symptoms for about a week before testing positive. So if you test at the start and think ‘oh it’s negative, no covid then’, think again.

Covid is doing the rounds here, not everyone seems to test positive even in the same house with same symptoms!

I had this (all the same symptoms) a few weeks ago, lasted three weeks. It weren't covid either and Gp gave me antibiotics for 7 days. There was a point I felt worse (after the antibiotics ended) and my hearing in one ear went funny. After 2 and a half weeks I started to feel better and then by the 3 week mark I was back to about 50% of myself

Sounds horrific. My LFT’s are out of date, maybe check yours too as that could affect the results.

I’ve been reassured by this thread that at least I’m not pregnant. Last time I had so much nausea was in pregnancy… I’m only day 14 of my cycle so can’t test plus it’s extremely unlikely! Hope you all recover well. I have about 600 expired covid tests in the cupboard maybe I’ll try one

I had this in July. By week 3 when I sounded like you sound chest wise and my sinuses were still blocked I called go for advice.

Diagnosed with sinusitis which had spread to my chest and prescribed antibiotics.

48 hours later I was better than I'd been for 22 days!!!

By day 5 I was feeling as right as rain again.

I will add I had fever on and off throughout the 3 weeks and I also was getting worse and worse daily rather than being ill at a constant rate iyswim?

Honestly at this point I assume any shitter of a virus with random symptoms is Covid. The LFTs aren't picking up all the strains apparently 😑

Sounds like when I had covid. I'd bet it's that despite the test.
