How do I clean this toilet please?

Hi. I've tried leaving bleach in it overnight, and I've tried Harpic tablets over night, but it's still stained. Should I try emptying the water out and putting bleach directly on the stain, or what should I try?
TIA

How do I clean this toilet please?

Why do people automatically go to bleach? Bleach doesn't clean. It has no cleaning agents in it. It should be used sparingly, if ever.

Honestly - Killrock, leave overnight - you will be amazed!!

I remove the seat weekly and soak in bath with some bleach.

Lidl do an excellent limescale liquid, I use it all over the house because we live in a very hard water area. I put it in a squirty bottle for the kitchen and bathroom.

Black harpic will dull or stain any stainless steel so while it's excellent on loos, don't use it on any stainless steel sinks or any chrome fittings.

Keep going with the black harpic - it will eventually shift it. Our last rental's loo was far worse than yours but a month or two later we had it like a new loo.

Bleach will only whiten the limescale, but it soon gets dirtied again as you use the loo because the limescale surface will hold more dirt than a smooth ceramic finish. But once you get rid of the limescale you can bleach after use and then just do a weekly overnight harpic on it to maintain it with minimal or no scrubbing.

I had to deal with one like this a few years ago.

I used denture cleaning tablets, shoved in a couple and left them overnight then gave it all a good scrub in the morning - perfect.

we have a lot of limescale.

once I have got the worst off, I just use a limescale toilet cleaner every night and a quick scrub int he morning. Bit by bit the rest comes off.

then once clean use a regular cleaner with limsescale remover in. To prevent build up

A pumice stone is better than a screwdriver. I'd take the water out but still wear rubber gloves.

It's limescale. Natural method. Get a plastic scrubber and a plastic scraper and go at it with some. Lemon juice/white vinegar.

Non natural method - Empty the water out as best you can. Boil the kettle and tip into the toilet with some kettle descaler

Do not put boiling water into a toilet unless you want it to crack.

Builders use Spirits of Salts, it's powerful stuff.

Cola, works amazingly on mine, will never drink it again!
