Show me your emerald rings please!

I would like to buy an emerald ring in tribute to a lost loved one. They left me a bit of money and we had an inside joke about emerald rings. It just feels like the right thing to spend it on.
Ideally I would like to buy preloved or vintage. I’m just so stuck on style! Would appreciate anyone showing me ones they have to give me inspiration on style!

Budget of around £1000.

@LibertyLily That’s lovely 😊 I always think larger rings look so lovely on other people but they feel so uncomfortable on my hand lol. I just can’t get to grips with them at all.

Have found this one through a second hand jewellery site which I’m considering but I’m not 100% sure that it’s the style I want!

Don’t have one (yet) but look at Fenton and co either for inspo or to buy they have the most beautiful gem stone rings. X

Is it a full eternity style though (ie the stones go all the way round the band)? I find some of those uncomfortable. I prefer a half eternity style.

Also emeralds vary massively in quality, some are quite cloudy. If you're thinking of spending a significant amount of money I'd want to see it in person. Or at least be able to return it if I want happy with it.

@nebulae It’s actually under £200 😳 so I’m considering taking a chance on it and seeing how it is. Different country within the UK unfortunately so not able to see it first. It’s half eternity style, 7 stones.

My ring is retailing at £1950 but I bought it for £500 ( 5 years ago )

Mine is similar to the one you posted. My Mum bought me it, and I think it was around £450.

This is mine, not on my wrinkly hand!
It’s vintage from the 1960s, I like the jewellery of that eara and have a small collection.

I paid £175 for this from a seller on Etsy. It's gorgeous, but I've had to replace I'm emerald already as it chipped then broke and fell out. Only about £20 to replace though!

It's 9ct gold, 11 diamonds and 8 emeralds.

Lots of be said for proper vintage, but this is dated 1990s which makes me feel very old!

@LittleBumblebee3 the one you're considering if very pretty! For that price I'd definitely take a chance 😊

I know what you mean about large rings - I have quite slender fingers (size J wedding ring finger) so you'd think they'd feel uncomfortable/look overbearing, when actually I think they suit me better than dainty ones which I really like too.

I have these. I inherited them when my mother died. I feel a bit guilty as I rarely wear them.

Those are all so lovely. I love emeralds but have blue eyes so have not got one.

This is my ring now, but it was originally my grandmother's. I'm not actually sure when my grandfather bought it for her but it would have been the 90s or earlier.
