Sorry, @MardiBras, I don't seem able to get my messages on my phone. I'm posting what I got up to. It's not a spoiler as there is a new puzzle today. It's been driving me crazy!

I don't think I get the hang of this game! I think it's because the first couple of times I did it, it just worked really easily for me. On today's game I seem to have orange letters in one word that belong in another word. I wasn't expecting that!

Hi @determinedtomakethiswork . There are two words to discover and the letters are for both words. In yesterday's example above, the L is correct for one of the words, and the "RO" for a different word. The N can then be in the same place as one of the correct letters but in another word, if that makes sense?
It's hard to start with but after a few goes, starts to make sense. I still sometimes write out the possibilities to figure out the answer.
And one day you'll get a "huh" which is even more annoying.

@determinedtomakethiswork Keep practising each day and you will eventually get the hang of it. Yesterday’s solution was Throw and Vinyl. You will see how that fits with the letters you had. I often use random words just to eliminate or find letters. As @Stokey says, it can help to write it down. Usually, but not always, there is a link between the two words and the clue, although this can sometimes difficult to fathom!
