BST Hyde Park this summer - any tips?

I got caught up in Ticket master system when looking for tickets for La Del Rey. The thrill of getting into the waiting room and the rapidly decreasing number in online queue in front of me meant I paid way more than I intended to and got 2 tickets.

I have managed to get hotel for 2 nights as we are travelling a long way (how much!!!!!) and sorted train tickets (another gulp at the cost!!)

Having recovered from the total cost so far, have decided to go for it and embrace it all.
It's dd's first big gig and she is hyper.

Anyone been before and any tips for us?

Late to this but I took 2 massive LDR fans and was in the golden circle - was worth it for them to get so close to her. My god, she is an icon. I was so impressed.

GOY are one of my favourite bands so I was so lucky when they announced. Been listening to Father John for years so that was a double treat for me. What a guy.

I've been to BST twice now and do not like the setup. The golden circle is wrong, I think. We were stuck but the time FJM came one. So many people sitting down. I'm a dance at the back kind of festival goer (I go to many). I need room 😁 but, I'd do it again for my DD's absolute dream come true.
