Do you like Beanies coffee?

My friend loves drinking beanies coffee. I was intrigued so got a variety pack with 12 different flavours.

So far I've tried two and couldn't finish them. One was a mint chocolate one and it was so bad. It tasted so artificial and chemically.

Do you know anyone who likes these coffees? I'm starting to think there must be two Beanies coffees and I've got the wrong ones.

No, they taste horrendous generally.

A couple of the flavours are okay.

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 11/05/2023 08:13

I really wanted to but no, very bitter coffee with artificial tasting flavours.

CountryStore · 11/05/2023 08:13

The one I tried was absolutely foul. I can't remember what flavour it was. It was years ago so I can't remember what flavour it was, though.

I quite like the jaffa cake and Irish whisky ones

CountryStore · 11/05/2023 08:15

I don't if I've mentioned I don't know what flavour it was? 😬

Otherland · 11/05/2023 08:15

Yes! But I don't like coffee. I can drink the Beanies flavoured stuff though, but normal coffee is too bitter for my liking.

I like the toffee and maple type flavours.

Cupcakequeen75 · 11/05/2023 08:16

Drinking one now (Easter Cream).
The trick is to add a small amount of Beanies to your normal coffee, adds a nice gentle flavour.
Drinking pure Beanies is just vile. 🤮

MillicentTrilbyHiggins · 11/05/2023 08:19

I 'treated' myself to some a few years ago when I was working nights. It didn't taste of anything other than cheap shit coffee.

namechange1986 · 11/05/2023 08:25

I bought a selection of them, and hate them all.

greenkitten2 · 11/05/2023 08:30

I don't like them either!

ChickenRat · 11/05/2023 08:35

Now I'm curious and must try them

I'm very particular about tea but when it comes to coffee you could offer me literally any type and I'd drink it with gratitude

I'd be interested to know if there's a coffee out there that even I can't drink

RicherThanYews · 11/05/2023 08:39

Eww, nope. Tbf though it's not just Beanies, I can't stand any instant coffee, it is just too weak. My H loves the stuff though and he had a box of 30 for Christmas, Irish Cream was well received.

burnoutbabe · 11/05/2023 08:42

I love syrups in my coffee and tried beanies, I just didn't like them sadly. Tried Jaffa cake and a toffee one and a weird apple one.

Think the coffee looked weirdly white granules after a while so I threw rest away.

Shane as I like the concept

RampantIvy · 11/05/2023 08:46

No. I like my coffee to taste of coffee and nothing else. Same with gin. I don't care for flavoured gin either.

MasterOfOne · 11/05/2023 08:52

I always think they smell delicious but the taste absolutely grim.

I threw away previous jars, but think I should try adding a little to my normal coffee for a hint of flavour (or more scent)

The Irish whisky smelled gorgeous

Flibb · 11/05/2023 09:00

Liked a cinnamon one and a cookie dough one. Tried a brandy snap one and it was disgusting and kind of acrid/sicky tasting. It's the only coffee I couldn't bring myself to drink @ChickenRat, you should try it (or not!).

BooksAndHooks · 11/05/2023 09:01

Yes mint is my favourite. It’s nothing like proper coffee but I do like to have a few jars for a change now and then.

BellatrixLestrangesHeatedCurlers · 11/05/2023 09:14

I had the same problem. It tastes like chemicals. Hideous stuff.

RampantIvy · 11/05/2023 09:54

Is it for people who don't like coffee?

MaryJean87 · 11/05/2023 10:20

I'm literally drinking one right now. Caramel popcorn. Some of them are too sweet though. My favourite is the Irish cream.

refreshingseahorse · 11/05/2023 10:23

Yes, but they are a different drink to coffee, in the same way that Starbucks lattes etc are not coffee, they are coffee adjacent.
Having said that - only the toffee / caramel ones and they really need full fat milk.

paddingtonBee · 11/05/2023 11:09

@ChickenRat please let us know what you think if you do try them.

I've never thrown away a cup of coffee until I tried beanies mint chocolate.

How can coffee taste like caramel popcorn though? Grin I just don't get it!

It didn't really, it had a popcorn smell. It was nice but I wouldn't say it was amazing. They're just sweet coffees with a hint of flavour.
