Recommendations for someone you've found really funny, that I can look up and watch. Trying to laugh more in life!

What is your usual style of humour?

billyt · 02/05/2023 15:53

At the moment my favourite is Micky Flanagan as he is hilarious. So is Peter Kay. And there's Lee Evans, Angela Barnes and Sarah Millican

Milton Jones is great for one liners.

I'm not a fan of comedians like Michael McIntyre etc.

I love Jason Manford.

Jo Koy - a US/Filipino comedian. Hilarious, especially his routines about his mum!

JenniferBarkley · 02/05/2023 17:17

Dara O Briain is my favourite. Ed Byrne is good too.

Hyperion100 · 02/05/2023 17:21

Jason Manford
Frankie Boyle
Dara O'Brien
Ricky Gervais

Daniel Sloss - brilliant live
Seann Walsh - also great live
they both put so much energy into their performances

BiggerBoat1 · 02/05/2023 17:40

If you don't mind some fifth Greg Davies is hands down the funniest stand-up I've ever seen.

Watto1 · 02/05/2023 17:42

Billy Connolly. I literally have tears pouring down my face laughing at him!

Michael Mcintyre is so so funny, especially if you're a parent and can relate to his content.

Lee Evans is brilliant but has retired now ☹️

beckslovestimmy · 02/05/2023 17:54

Went to see Russell Howard live recently. Laughed till my sides ached

Sadly no longer with us, but the stage uncensored Lily Savage (aka Paul O'Grady) was very clever and funny.

twoastars · 02/05/2023 17:57

Gary Delaney - rude but his one liners have me in stitches

Toastandacupoftea · 02/05/2023 18:01

Love a bit of Simon Amstell, hilariously honest.

RachelGreensHair · 02/05/2023 18:02

Larry Dean
Paul Chowdhry
Seann Walsh did a recent set for free on YouTube which is great
Hassan Minhaj has two sets on netflix, both of which are great.

LindorDoubleChoc · 02/05/2023 18:03

Harry Hill. His DVD "Hooves" is the funniest thing I have ever seen. Went to see him earlier this year and he was superb and 99% of the audience was crying laughing.

RachelGreensHair · 02/05/2023 18:03

Yes - Simon Amstell.
Bo Burnham is quirky but amazing!!

lemonaddde · 02/05/2023 18:06
